Hi Everyone!
It’s Mabel here again to share with you a little mixed media canvas piece I did with Kaisercraft new collection ‘Beach Shack’.
I had used texture paste over Kaisercraft 6×6 Stencil ‘IT460’. It was meant to be mimicking wave ripples, but I had made it seemed like its seaweed instead with the layers of colours I had piled on top. I guess its a creative way to extend the use of the products you own?
I was going for a distressed look, hence I had a makeup sponge ready to sponge on the blues and browns from Kaisercraft inkpads. I had even watered it down to use it as watercolour.
To say that the ephemera I used from this collection is useful will be a major understatement. It had made crafting so much easier and faster as no fussy-cutting is required. Hence, BIG LOVE to these die-cuts.
I also added bits and pieces of cheese cloth that was pulled loose to add additional interest to the canvas piece. It does looks like fishing net doesn’t it?
I had stamped and embossed using the stamp in this collection to create my centrepiece. I particularly like this saying as I always believe that curiosity is the deciding factor to push someone further in exploration.
