KC PRODUCTS: Collectables CT970, curios CR216, Wooden Flourishes
With Christmas just a whisker away it came to mind we all probably own or have seen a beautiful ornament that highlights what the season means to us, our families and friends. This little angel singing with such fervor belongs to a very dear friend and I photographed and framed it as part of my decorations. The quote reads: The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear, which is why I titled my layout Joy to the World…..
So your challenge is:
Create a layout/card/mixed media with your favourite ornament and upload to KaiserCraft Challenge Corner with the hashtag #kccornerchallenge8 at the bottom of your post so we can find it. Also there is an album set up in thje group to post your entries into as well. So head over to our facebook page to be in the running to win a prize … looking forward to seeing your takes on this challenge
.. best wishes Annette
JOY to the WORLD : I really enjoyed creating this Christmas layout, this range is so stunning and so different to the usual Christmas colours. I played with many ideas and combinations as the papers are so gorgeous and realized I was just fiddling around and it was now time to get serious….

Starting with a black cardstock base I added the gold holly leaves on cream and continued to build from there, adding some white doilies from my stash to soften the straight edges. I do distress my edges of papers as I prefer the slightly shabby look. Fussy cutting, collectables, wooden flourishes and curios adhered to the page with foam tape for extra dimension completed the layout. I hope I have inspired you today not only to do the challenge.
The full instructions for this layout is downloadable and/or printable from HERE.
