Hello, Kaisercraft friends! It’s Donna here with a project using the Amethyst collection. I made a scrapbook layout with lots of fussy cutting and layerings!
Kaisercraft Products: AMYTHEST Collection: P2911 Quartz | P2912 Opal | P2917 Full Moon | CT980 Collectables | CT986 Sentiment | CD601 White | RS456 Lilac | EM405 Paper Doilies | T302 Foam Dots | LDB1056 Foam Tape | T321 Acid-free craft glue
Other: white embroidery thread, black felt tip pen
The Amethyst patterned papers are so beautiful and I wanted showcase some of them all at once. So what I did was create a layer of papers with torn/distressed edges.
I like to curl the edges as well to create texture and depth. To make the edges curl easier, I create a line where I wanted to tear off the paper with brush and a bit of water. I can carefully tear the paper this way and it makes curling the edges so beautifully.
I also create the messy pattern of purple, blue and white watercolors on the white cardstock background.
Lots of fussy cutting done for this layout and mostly came from the Full Moon paper alone. It is one of those papers from a Kaisercraft collection that you would surely want to stock up if you are a fussy-cutting lover like me.
I hope you liked my layout and I hope this sparked your creativity today.
