Little Treasures – Cards

Hello Kaisercraft fans and welcome back to the blog! I hope this post finds you well in these crazy times we now find ourselves in.

Little Treasures Collection: PP1088 Paper Pad | CT982 | Collectables | Collectables Sentiments |

How sweet is this new collection – Little Treasures! I love the sweet little images and those beautiful flowers in the collectables pack. As my “babies” are now big people and they have friends who are now having babies I made a couple of cards in preparation.

These cards were super easy to create.

I covered my card base with some pretty papers from the paper pad. Then I made a couple of embellishment clusters from the collectables pack to sit at the top of my card.

Here is a look at each individual card

Blessed – Amethyst

Hello and thanks for stopping by the blog today!

Seriously how STUNNING is this new range – Amethyst. The florals are divine and as soon as I seen it I knew I wanted to fussy cut!

Kaisercraft products: Amethyst collection P2916 Crystal | P2910 Mistique | PP1086 Paper Pad | CT980 Collectables | CS380 Clear Stamps IT499 Crochet Doily Stencil

To start with I added a bit of texture using the doily stencil and I then sprinkled some glitter over the top before it dried. I have to say tho I think it would of been better to mix the glitter through the texture paste before, rather than sprinkle it over. It does create a sparkly mess!

I then made my paper cluster and fussy cut the flowers from that stunning Mistique paper.

I positioned my paper and photo on my page and then embellished with the collectable and stamped with the co- ordinating stamp set.

I hope I have inspired you a little today with this stunning new range. If you would like to recreate this layout you can find the instructions here

Tropical Vibes – Sunkissed

Hello Kaisercraft lovers and welcome to the blog today!

PRODUCTS USED: P2906 Lemon Lime | P2903 Mojito | P2905 Long Island | CT979 Collectables | IT502 Tropical Leaves Stencil | DD474 Cross Lattice Texture Die

WOW! The colours in this collection just grabbed me! So bright and happy. From those beautiful birds to the pretty pink flowers. Just makes me want a holiday. Instead I decided to put the papers to use and scrap a photo of my hubby sitting under a palm tree in our pool at home with a cocktail in hand. The papers were perfect!

I chose the Lemon Lime paper as my background. This was way out of my comfort zone as I almost always use a white background but I loved this paper so thought I would mix it up a little.

To start I added some stencil work using the Tropical Leaves stencil that co-ordinates with the collection and added some leaves to the back ground.

I fussy cut the flowers from the corner of the Long Island paper and then made my paper cluster for my photo to sit on.

Now I start and tuck everything into those layers. I also added in the Cross Lattice texture die too.

Here is a closer look at some of that stencil work and how pretty is that bird!

Until next time – happy crafting!

Together – Native Breeze

Hello!

And thank you so much for stopping by the blog. Today I have a simple layout to share with you.

Kaisercraft products: P2860 Eucalyptus | PP1084 Paper Pad | CT978 Collectables | FL665 Flourish Pack | DD3351 Protea Die

I am a massive lover of white backgrounds! I love that I can go nuts with lots of clusters and embellishments and put it on a white background and it just all pops. So thats how this layout came about.

First I made that lovely big cluster from the collectables back. I die cut two of the beautiful protea die and also ticked them under along with a doily just to soften it a little.

So by starting with making a little cluster it kind of already gives me an idea where my photo can sit.

I then cut a piece of the Eucalyptus paper and placed it down the right hand side of my page just to ground it a little. I added the branding strip too for a pop of extra colour.

I then made my paper cluster for my photo to sit on and adhere that to my page. Once that is all stuck down I can come back and add the extra details like the other two words (Favourite Day and Memories) which are from the collectable pack along with the wooden flourishes.

Some black stamping and some gemstones and my layout is complete!

Until next time – happy crafting!

Love this – Lilly and Moss

Hi there Kaisercraft lovers! Its Jo and welcome to the blog today.

Seriously how pretty is this collection. Pink and green one of my fav colour combos. I have created a soft and pretty layout.

Kaisercraft products P2883 | P2887 | P2889 | P2890 | CT977- collectables | SK826 Sticker Book | CS377 Clear Stamps | DD643 Fun Words Decorative Die | DD3338 Texture Rough Mesh Decorative Die | DD630 Floral Frame Decorative Die

I started by using the P2883 as my base and added some texture using the texture rough mesh die along with some of the coordinating stamps.

I then added the pretty floral frame die and made a cluster of paper for my photo to sit on top of.

My page need a little more of the green to I tore some strips off of he pink paper and then added it also incorporating some lace to the P2890 paper.

I then set about my embellishing. I tucked under some of the collectables on the left and right hand side of my pic. I added some stickers from the sticker book along with the “Love this” title which i cut from the fun words die. I cut it three times and layered it up and added some green ink to it as well.

Some black stamping and some white splatters and my page was finished.

Techique Tuesday – Die Cut Inlay

Hello and welcome to another Technique Tuesday.

I thought I would share with you a little technique that I love to do – die cut inlay.

Kaisercraft products: PP1083 paper pad | DD3329 Lily decorative die

It is such an easy technique and a pair of tweezers will make the job a little easier!

To start I die cut out using white cardstock and discard all the little pieces.

I then die cut it again 2 times, one using some green paper and then again using some of the pink. Save all these little pieces. I pop them in a dish so they don’t get lost.

Adhere your white die cut outline to your paper. Then add just a small amount of glue to each section and with tweezers add each piece. Some dies are intricate so you may need a little patience!

Here is an example of some I did with last months Grand Bazaar collection.

Kaisercraft products: PP1081 Paper pad | DD628 Star Mandala

I hope I have inspired you a little today to give this technique a try. Don’t forget to share on your creations on our Kaisercraft Corner page on Facebook. We love to see your work!

Celebrate – Oh Happy Day

Hello and thank you so much for stopping by today!

Im sharing with you a super quick and super simple layout I have created using the Oh Happy Day collection.  A fun collection with lots of bright colours and hints of gold foil.

Kaisercraft products:   P2892  |  P2898  |  P2899 |  SK822 Sticker Book  |  CT976 Collectables  FL663 Flourish Pack  |  CS372 Paint Splatters stamp DD3349 Happy Birthday Balloons Die

So as much as I love mixed media I totally suck at it so this paint splatter stamp is a winner for me!  I started by stamping my white cardstock with some Licorice ink before adding a few layers of paper.

I then made a couple of little embellishment clusters for both side sof my layout using the collectables along with some of the stickers found in the sticker sheet.

I also added the wooden flourishes.

Here is a closer look at those little embellishment clusters.

To finish off I die cut the Happy Birthday Balloons die 3 times from and stacked them up.  I then added some scraps of the paper behind the balloons.

To “ground” my page I added a couple of the left over branding strips to the bottom of the page along with the candles and make a wish from the sticker book

Until next time – Happy scrapping!

Dream until your dreams come true

Hello Kaisercraft fans and welcome to todays blog post featuring the absolutely beautiful Lady Like collection.

Kaisercraft products:  P2874 | CT974 Collectables | SK820 Sticker Book | DD499 Texture Burlap die | DD630 Floral Frame Die

Oh my – seriously I think this would have to be my most favourite collection so far this year!  I am a huge fan of pink and this collection is just so soft and feminine.  Love everything about it from the little frames and key locks to those stunning florals and soft dreamy papers!

I started by adding a bit of texture to a white background and adhereing some of the Burlap die to a white piece of cardstock.

From there I made my flower cluster and cut out the middle of those frames.  Dont throw the little quotes away as they will come in handy for another project.  I also added some doilys just to give it a really girly look.

I printed my photo in black and white just to keep the whole feel of the layout soft and pretty even tho the photo also has my boys in.  Using pink doesnt bother me at all.

I have also used the floral frame die and added a little bit of patterned paper to the back of the flower just for a little something extra.

I loved creating with this collection.  Im sure I will be creating a few more projects with it.  Dont forget we would love to see your creations too on our Kaisercraft Corner page on Facebook.

Explore – Unchartered Waters

Hi and welcome back to the blog.

Jo here with you today to share a layout with the new Uncharted Waters papers. This collection is perfect for all your seaside photos, boating or even just to create a masculine inspired page.

KAISERCRAFT PRODUCTS:  P2853 | P2854 | SK819 Sticker book | CT973  Collectables | FL660 Flourish Pack | DD494 Flora Branches | DD815 Sketched Circle

I chose to scrapbook this photo of my hubby and me while we were away down south in the beautiful Denmark area of Western Australia.  Oh the coast line is just stunning!

So many wonderful collectables to choose from in the pack and I started by clustering them all together to make a big focal point before adding my photo.

Here is a closer look at that cluster.

I love to start my layouts by making a clusters of embellishments and then working my photo in around them.  I have to say the collectables are always my favourite part of any collection.

Here is another close up.  I have added some die cuts from the Flora Branches die for a bit of texture and also the Sketched Circles die just to frame my photo a little too.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
