Pure Bliss

We are well into summer here in New Zealand and what better way to celebrate those lovely summer days with a lovely tropical and bright collection – Sunkissed. It just oozes summer! Here is my layout I created with this collection

Kaisercraft products used: P2901 Pina Colada; P2905 Long Island; P2907 Pineapple Sour; P2908 Tutti Fruitt; CT979 Collectables; CD328 Kaisercard Magenta; CD366 Kaisercard Jungle

P2905 Long Island paper is used as the base page for my layout, matting my photo with the Magenta and Jungle cardstock before placing this on my page. I then built up the top left flower cluster using a mix of the collectables and fussy cut images from P2908 Tutti Frutti, placing my photo just under the leaves.

At the right bottom corner of my photo I then placed the fussy cut Toucan image from P2907 Pineapple Sour with thick foam tape, and then layered this up with fussy cut images from P2908 Tutti Frutti and the collectables.

The butterfly is from the collectables and I have added foam tape under the wings for dimension. I have then finished off adding the tags from the collectables “Perfect Day, Pure Bliss and the tag off the photo “Feeling a little bit Tropical”. The wording at the bottom of the page is the cut off strip from the P2901 Pina Colada paper.

This Sunkissed Collection can be found at Kaisercraft, along with all their other collections here.

Thank you for visiting, have a lovely week!

Tropical Vibes Single Page

KAISERCRAFT PRODUCTS USED: SUNKISSED Collection:
P2907 Pineapple Sour, P2908 Tutti Frutti, CT979 Collectables, Kaisermists Gold, T302 Foam Dots, LDB1056 Foam Tape, T321 Acid-free craft glue

Hi everyone, welcome to today’s blog post with me Jowilna. With our summer slowly waving goodbye there is nothing better than dreaming of a long tropical holiday on a gorgeous island. And if that’s not on the cards at least we can escape with this beautiful Sun kissed range of papers.

I was inspired by this beautiful photo my cousin took while visiting the beautiful resort on Bhutan. It matched the paper perfectly and i simply couldn’t resist. I started off by cutting elements from the Tutti Frutti paper. I matted my photo and then finding the placement layered the cut outs under the photo matt before adhering most of the elements using foam tape.
Some elements peek out from under the photo and others are layered on top to add interest and dimension.
The beautiful elements from the Collectibles packet help to add interest. I used the sentiment from the Collectibles packet down the side of my layout as a title.
I added some gold splats using my Kaisermists, then added some red and gold rhinestones in various sizes to finish off my layout.
What will you create with this stunning range of papers and elements?
And did you see the second packet of Sentiment Collectibles – Love them so much for cards and Pocket pages – a total game changer!

Enjoy this fabulous layout featuring our Lady Like Collection.

“I chose the Lady Like Collection for this project because of the soft muted tones and feminine florals. You can use the three colours separately or combined on any project from cards to Off the Page. It’s a beautiful romantic collection for all occasions.”

Today I’m sharing a layout and quick tutorial using the Lady Like Collection from Kaisercraft. I had so many ideas and wasn’t sure which way to go, but eventually I settled on using lots of layers. This collection is so versatile, you can either use each colour separately or combined as I have done here. It’s such a soft, feminine, romantic collection that could be used for all occasions.

To start, I’ve taken the “Gertrude” 12×12 patterned paper to use as the base for this layout.
Take the “Delores” 12×12 patterned paper and cut it down to 11.5″x11.5″.
Take the “Elsie” patterned paper and cut it down to 10.75″x10.75″.
Next take another sheet of “Delores” 12×12 patterned paper and cut it down to 10.5″x10.5″ (Note: flip this piece over so the pink side is showing).

Once you have these layers, cut out a 9.25″x9.25″ square piece from the “Gertrude” base leaving approximately a two inch border on the base piece. This cut out piece will be another layer.
Then take a second sheet of “Elsie” 12×12 patterned paper and cut it down to 8.75″x8.75″ making sure to measure from the bottom left so you include the floral pattern. Distress and assemble all layers as shown below.

Take the “Rose” 12×12 patterned paper and fussy cut all flowers from the page. Adhere to the layout as shown. Next, take the “Patsy” 12×12 patterned paper and fussy cut all elements from the page. You will need the lace frame which I have cut down and adhered as shown below. The pink lace strip is from the sticker book, you will need both of these.

Because there’s so many layers, I popped the photo up on some cardboard to give the layout some extra dimension.

Once you have this base down, add further floral and elements from both pages and sticker book. Assemble as shown in the finished layout below. Randomly add some pink pearls around the page and on the floral photo cluster. Add some black pearls to the body of both butterflies.

Guest DT – Annemarie Caister Lady Like Double Layout

Here’s a special feature from our guest designer, Annemarie Caister. With 18 years of scrapbooking experience, we absolutely loved this double layout as soon as we saw it!

“I chose Lady Like because I absolutely love roses and pink is my favourite colour! I knew instantly that I had to scrapbook my friend’s daughter’s wedding in June. I have known the bride, Claire, since the day she was born and her Mum and I have been friends since we did ballet together when we were about 6!”

Annemarie Caister

“I love fussy cutting and creating lots of layers on my layouts so this paper range certainly satisfied my likes! I created the base layout by cutting 1 inch strips of papers, tearing the edges and layering them at the top and bottom of the double page. I splattered some black paint over the background for some interest. Photos were double-matted and lifted with foam tape to make them pop of the page. I arranged lots of gorgeous fussy-cut roses and leaves in layers, also popping them up with foam tape for extra dimension. I pinched and bent the leaves and edges of the flowers to create movement. To enhance my layout, I used stickers from the sticker book and elements from the collectables pack.”

Thank you Annemarie for sharing this layout with us!

Lily & Moss simple single page

Hi everyone, today on the blog I am sharing another Lily & Moss layout this time using a patterned paper as background with some of my left-over elements. It’s always amazing how far you can stretch your collections with a bit of imagination – real crafting value!

Kaisercraft products: Lily & Moss Collection |P2891 | Circular
P2885 Ombre | CT977- collectables | SK826 Sticker Book
KM132 | Gold Shimmer Kaiser Mist | Pearls
I used the Ombre {reverse} patterned paper as my background. I don’t often work on anything but white but this sheet of paper was begging to be used.
I used my left-over elements from the Collectibles packet as well as some stickers.
I cut a strip of the blocks from the Circular patterned paper {reverse}. Adhere the strip of blocks to the left of your matted photo. Then add a quote block peeking out from behind the photo. The rest of the layout consists of arranging flowers and leaves around the photo.
Finishing off my layout using pearls, diamante and some gold Kaisermist splatters. The gold splatters look amazing against the dark green background – adding life and interest.

I hope you are inspired to use the rest of the elements left- over from your beautiful collection. It really goes to show that you don’t need a lot of supplies to be able to create a beautiful project. Until next time Jowilna xxx

Guest DT – Paula Saunders Chartered Waters Card Set

For anyone who knows me – you will know how much i love all things nautical and so you will understand why I loved these cards when i saw them.
One of my favourite things whilst working with Kaisercraft was the awesome people I have had the opportunity to meet and share with during our Retailer Day events – Mike and Paula from Craftables in New Zealand are just a couple of them .

Paula created these gorgeous cards for a class back at her store and has given them to us to share with you.

As we live in sunny Tauranga with a view of our beautiful harbour and ocean, the Uncharted Waters collection from Kaisercraft really appealed to me. The nautical theme lent itself so well to all the extra embellishments I was able to add, like the rope, netting and beachy items.
I loved creating this series of 10 cards with this collection, and am so pleased to be able to share it with you.”

Thank you Paula for sharing these with us.

If you would like to recreate these yourselves – you can download the instructions HERE.
