Little Treasures – Cards

Hello Kaisercraft fans and welcome back to the blog! I hope this post finds you well in these crazy times we now find ourselves in.

Little Treasures Collection: PP1088 Paper Pad | CT982 | Collectables | Collectables Sentiments |

How sweet is this new collection – Little Treasures! I love the sweet little images and those beautiful flowers in the collectables pack. As my “babies” are now big people and they have friends who are now having babies I made a couple of cards in preparation.

These cards were super easy to create.

I covered my card base with some pretty papers from the paper pad. Then I made a couple of embellishment clusters from the collectables pack to sit at the top of my card.

Here is a look at each individual card

You Fill My Heart With Joy

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. It has been a little while since I have shared a papercraft post. With the delays in shipping, this has affected the release of collections from Kaisercraft however the wait is worth it. This collection is gorgeous. If you have baby photos or need to make some baby cards, Little Treasures will make your task easier.

Other: Versamark Ink |White and Pink Embossing Powder |Stamens |Modelling Paste

Kaisercraft has been incorporating past die releases to compliment current paper collections. I have used the sketched circle and heart dies to create my own chipboard pieces which I altered by stamping them in Versamark ink and heat embossing them with white and pink embossing powder.

I heat embossed the stamp and used my zig markers to colour the stamped whimsical image in. To age the background, I used some distress ink.

Celebrate Today

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. I cannot believe that we are approaching the end of the month, one that has been filled with so many highs and lows. I am sharing two projects that feature products from the Native Breeze Collection.

Kaisercraft Products: NATIVE BREEZE Collection – P2859 Wattle Flower |P2858 Gum Leaves |CB153 Corrugated Cardboard |CD651 Kraft Cardstock |CT976 Native Breeze Collectables | Decorative Dies: DD3334 Celebrate Today, DD441 Sari Texture

This collection is abundant with beautiful florals, that can potentially showcase so many occasions. I selected this title as I felt with so much sadness affecting us all with the bushfires, tragedies in the media we needed to find hope and some joy in our days.

OTHER: Zig Markers |Versamark Ink |White Embossing Powder |Gold Embossing Powder |Bristol Smooth Cardstock |Waterbrush Pen |Corner Rounder |Hemp

My second project features the clear stamp from the collection. I stamped it onto Bristol smooth cardstock and used my zig markers to colour it in.

It is such a pretty stamp and watercolour markers really are easy to work with.

Australiana Dies

Love the look of dies but not sure of what to do with them? Kaisercraft has released a range of Australiana floral dies that not only compliment paper collections but can be used on their own.

Kaisercraft Products: CD511 Card Pack C6 White | Decorative Dies: DD812 Sketched Rectangle Frame | DD3351 Protea | IP743 Spearmint Ink Pad | CS916 Occassions Mini Clear Stamps | CD301 Snow Cardstock | CD302 Coal Cardstock

Other: Copic Markers | Versamark Ink | Clear Embossing Powder | Silver Embossing Powder | White Embossing Powder | Stick It Adhesive | 100 pound Cardstock

I was inspired by the protea die. After having a look at images online to see what colours to use, I explored a stained glass technique and decided that I would use this to showcase the die. I used my copic markers to colour the indentation of the die onto cardstock then heat embossed it with clear embossing ink to create the stained glass look. This technique could be used to create home decor items.

Techique Tuesday – Die Cut Inlay

Hello and welcome to another Technique Tuesday.

I thought I would share with you a little technique that I love to do – die cut inlay.

Kaisercraft products: PP1083 paper pad | DD3329 Lily decorative die

It is such an easy technique and a pair of tweezers will make the job a little easier!

To start I die cut out using white cardstock and discard all the little pieces.

I then die cut it again 2 times, one using some green paper and then again using some of the pink. Save all these little pieces. I pop them in a dish so they don’t get lost.

Adhere your white die cut outline to your paper. Then add just a small amount of glue to each section and with tweezers add each piece. Some dies are intricate so you may need a little patience!

Here is an example of some I did with last months Grand Bazaar collection.

Kaisercraft products: PP1081 Paper pad | DD628 Star Mandala

I hope I have inspired you a little today to give this technique a try. Don’t forget to share on your creations on our Kaisercraft Corner page on Facebook. We love to see your work!

Until next time

Happy Birthday

I hope that you are safe and well. Today I am sharing a card with you that features stamps and products from the Lily and Moss Collection by Kaisercraft. I was really inspired by the stamp set and decided that I would use this as my main focus for my card.

Kaisercraft Products: Lily and Moss Collection – PP1083 Paper Pad |CD101 Coconut Cardstock | CS377 Lily and Moss Clear Stamp |CT977 Lily and Moss Collectables |Decorative Dies: DD508 Nesting Ovals |DD794 Ornate Pack 2 |CD511 Card Pack C6 White |F641 Dusty Pink Paper Blooms |SB701 Soft Pink Rhinestones

OTHER: Copic Markers |X-Press It Blending Card |Stamens |Hemp |Memento Tuxedo Black Ink |White Gel Pen

I used my copic markers to colour one of the stamps that are part of the stamp set. Once I had finished colouring the image in, I used a white gel pen to add some details to the largest blooms.

To add a vintage feel to my card, I added some die cut details around my stamped image. I used the corner die from the ornate pack 2 plus some rhinestones.

If you don’t own copic markers, this image would like beautiful watercoloured using watercolour markers. It doesn’t take a long time to colour in, but the results are very pleasing!

It’s your birthday! O’Happy Day

Hello! It’s Lisa here today to share some card inspiration with you.
I have been playing with the O’Happy Day collection for some bright and colourful birthday cards.

PRODUCTS USED:
PAPERS: O HAPPY DAY Collection: P1082 Paper Pad
KC PRODUCTS: CT976 Collectables, FL663 Flourish Pack, CD501 Square Card Bases, IP757 Black Ink

I have created two cards using the fun elements in the O’Happy Day Collection.
I have kept them quite simple.

For the first card I have used papers from the Paper Pad, to layer, as my base.

I have fussy cut the flag, party hat and candles from the papers,
and layered them with a die-cut sentiment and wood flourish.

You can find the full instructions for this card HERE.

For my second card

I have started with the blue star paper. I have simply added some collectables elements, layered over my card. Some with foam tape for dimension.

You can find the full instructions for this card HERE.

I hope that you like what I have created, sometimes keeping it simple is best with such bright and bold patterns and colours.

Lisa

Don’t forget you can find the O’Happy Day Collection in stock now at your local stockist or online at Kaisercraft.

Oh Happy Day Birthday Cards

Hello, Kaisercraft friends. It’s Donna here with a couple of cards using the Oh Happy day collection.

Download the PDF instruction HERE or click the main image above.

PRODUCTS USED: PAPERS: OH HAPPY DAY Collection: PP1082 Paper Pad
KAISERCRAFT PRODUCTS: SK822 Sticker book, CT976 Collectables, T303 Foam Tape, T321 Acid-Free Craft Glue, CD501 Card Pack Square White
Other: Black and white paper twine

I created something really simple using the paper pad and sticker book only. This colorful and playful collection is perfect not just for birthdays but for any other occasion like graduation or promotion etc.

Believe it or not, I only used the 6″ x 6.5″ paper pad and sticker book in creating these cards. What I love about the paper pads and sticker books is the variety of word arts you can use for birthdays or other greetings for any occasion.

I uploaded a PDF instruction you can download and it’s pretty simple you can do it yourself using the same collection or any of your choice. I made a second card using the same design principle but using different papers and embellishments/elements.

I hope these cards inspired you to create something today! Thanks for dropping by and have a crafty day!
