Enjoy this fabulous layout featuring our Lady Like Collection.

“I chose the Lady Like Collection for this project because of the soft muted tones and feminine florals. You can use the three colours separately or combined on any project from cards to Off the Page. It’s a beautiful romantic collection for all occasions.”

Today I’m sharing a layout and quick tutorial using the Lady Like Collection from Kaisercraft. I had so many ideas and wasn’t sure which way to go, but eventually I settled on using lots of layers. This collection is so versatile, you can either use each colour separately or combined as I have done here. It’s such a soft, feminine, romantic collection that could be used for all occasions.

To start, I’ve taken the “Gertrude” 12×12 patterned paper to use as the base for this layout.
Take the “Delores” 12×12 patterned paper and cut it down to 11.5″x11.5″.
Take the “Elsie” patterned paper and cut it down to 10.75″x10.75″.
Next take another sheet of “Delores” 12×12 patterned paper and cut it down to 10.5″x10.5″ (Note: flip this piece over so the pink side is showing).

Once you have these layers, cut out a 9.25″x9.25″ square piece from the “Gertrude” base leaving approximately a two inch border on the base piece. This cut out piece will be another layer.
Then take a second sheet of “Elsie” 12×12 patterned paper and cut it down to 8.75″x8.75″ making sure to measure from the bottom left so you include the floral pattern. Distress and assemble all layers as shown below.

Take the “Rose” 12×12 patterned paper and fussy cut all flowers from the page. Adhere to the layout as shown. Next, take the “Patsy” 12×12 patterned paper and fussy cut all elements from the page. You will need the lace frame which I have cut down and adhered as shown below. The pink lace strip is from the sticker book, you will need both of these.

Because there’s so many layers, I popped the photo up on some cardboard to give the layout some extra dimension.

Once you have this base down, add further floral and elements from both pages and sticker book. Assemble as shown in the finished layout below. Randomly add some pink pearls around the page and on the floral photo cluster. Add some black pearls to the body of both butterflies.

Guest DT – Annemarie Caister Lady Like Double Layout

Here’s a special feature from our guest designer, Annemarie Caister. With 18 years of scrapbooking experience, we absolutely loved this double layout as soon as we saw it!

“I chose Lady Like because I absolutely love roses and pink is my favourite colour! I knew instantly that I had to scrapbook my friend’s daughter’s wedding in June. I have known the bride, Claire, since the day she was born and her Mum and I have been friends since we did ballet together when we were about 6!”

Annemarie Caister

“I love fussy cutting and creating lots of layers on my layouts so this paper range certainly satisfied my likes! I created the base layout by cutting 1 inch strips of papers, tearing the edges and layering them at the top and bottom of the double page. I splattered some black paint over the background for some interest. Photos were double-matted and lifted with foam tape to make them pop of the page. I arranged lots of gorgeous fussy-cut roses and leaves in layers, also popping them up with foam tape for extra dimension. I pinched and bent the leaves and edges of the flowers to create movement. To enhance my layout, I used stickers from the sticker book and elements from the collectables pack.”

Thank you Annemarie for sharing this layout with us!

You Make Life More Beautiful – Lady Like Collection

Hello, Donna here with my take on the Lady Like collection. I love this collection with its soft color palette of pink, blues, greys, and greens as well as the designs and patterns especially, yes you guessed right, the floral ones.

You can download the PDF instruction HERE or click the main image above.

PAPERS: LADY LIKE Collection: P2874 Rose, P2880 Mabel, P2882 Evelyn
KC PRODUCTS: PP1080 Paper Pad, SK820 Sticker Book, CR220 Curios, FL661 Flourish Pack, CT974 Collectables, CS374 Clear stamps, CS360 Tiny Dot Texture Stamp, IP751 Chocolate Dye Ink Pad, IP740 Cotton Candy Ink Pad, KM132 Gold Kaiser Mist, IT501 Tiny Triangles Designer Template, EM405 Doily, T315 Double-Sided Tape, T303 Foam Tape, T321 Acid-Free Craft Glue
Other: Molding Paste, Hemp Twine

I created a simple mixed media background by using some stencil and molding paste as well as stamping and some distressing to add a bit of texture to the layout.

This banner is one of my favorite parts of this layout. I used the pennants from the sticker book and some hemp twine and I have a beautiful banner! I adhered the pennants in place to secure it properly though even though they’re stickers.

I also like trimming down some word art strips like the ones I used here. I do this when I didn’t one the word art strip/s to overwhelm the overall look of the layout. I also like snipping the edges either a simple slanted trim or some triangles to create a “banner-like” look.

ALL Kaisercraft products to create this layout are available online at the Kaisercraft Shop.

That’s all from me today and I hope you liked my layout as much as I do.
Thank you for dropping by and see you in my next post.

Happy crafting,

Lady Like – So Talented

I love the feminine feel and delicate florals in this this beautiful collection and the combination of dainty pinks and green – and isn’t the “Rose” paper just gorgeous, perfect for fussy cutting. I had a photo in mind for my layout, my daughter & I attended a Peaky Blinders festival, I am so proud of her as she completely re-designed an over sized vintage mens outfit to fit herself.

Kaisercraft Products Used: P2874 Rose|P2876 Jessica|P2877 Elsie|P2878 Delores|P2879 Gertrude|CD331 Tutu Kaisercard|CS374 Clear Stamp Lady Like|SB777 Black Rhinestones

Other Products Used: DMC Green Thread|Black Ink Pad

I started to assemble the base of my layout using Elsie & Jessica papers and Tutu Kaisercard.

I love stitching on my layouts and projects, so after punching along two edges of the Jessica and Tutu Kaisercard I then stitched along the punched edges.

The coordinating stamp set is just so beautiful, I love the lace borders so stamped, fussy cut and stitched along the edges then added these to the layout.

How relaxing is fussy cutting, I couldn’t resist fussy cutting all those beautiful flowers from the two Rose papers.

I arranged all the beautiful fussy cut Roses around my photo, in the top right hand corner.

……….and bottom left hand corner.

I used foam pads to give some height and dimension

……and stamped and fussy cut the pretty little butterflies from the coordinating stamp set to add extra interest

Live For The Moment

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing a layout that I have created using the Lady Like Collection. I was inspired by the beautiful floral papers and accessories that accompany this collection. Vintage florals are one of my favourites to design with.

Kaisercraft Products: Lady Like Collection – P2877 Elsie |P2876 Jessica | CT974 Lady Like Collectables |Decorative Dies: DD484 DIY Flora Pansy |DD493 DIY Flora Leaves |DD825 Layered Rose |Art Foam-  SF920 Sage |SF908 Blossom |SF901 White |Ink Pads – IP739 Flamingo |IP731 Berry |IP757 Permanent |SB794 Pearls Snow|CS752 Clear Stamp Script |Wooden Flourishes-FL613 Pretty | FL601 Bollywood

OTHER: Crackle Paint

To break up the background, I tore up JESSICA reverse and adhered it to the centre of ELISE. It adds the vintage feel I wanted to achieve.

I also created some art foam flowers in different sizes as embellishments for my layout. I also used some Kaiser ink pads to alter white art foam to achieve the colours that I wanted.

I selected flourishes and altered them using crackle paint to frame my photo and also add a layer to my florals.

I also incorporated collectable items including florals, butterflies and vintage clock. I used the florals as a base to build my other flowers upon and they help to add dimension to the layout.

Good morning how are you? What do you think of this months collections? They are very inspiring and today I am here to share with you a fairly quick and easy layout especially when we are getting to the crazy part of the year where we want to scrap but we are finding it increasingly harder with time, family and all that that goes with the festive season.

So you can follow along with the PROCESS VIDEO HERE and also a downloadable PDF HERE.

PAPERS: LADY LIKE Collection: P2874 Rose, P2878 Delores, P2881 Pasty, P2882 Evelyn, SK820 Sticker Book, CR220 Curios, CT974 Collectables

Deconstruct the wood panels and then use a distress tool on the edges. To make more of an impact once stuck down go and tear the gaps open some more, to give it a bolder look.

Sometimes less is more and this also applies to your embellishment clusters …. you dont need a lot and the key is to keep them compact.

To create negative space us a smaller photo and by placing your title to the bottom and away from the top it will help get a bigger impact with this technique.

Till next time have a creative day.

Lady Like themed cards

Welcome to today’s blog post. I am sharing some cards using the gorgeous Lady Like range.

Products used: Lady Like Collection PP1080 Paper Pad |SK820 Sticker Book | CT974 Collectables | Other: SB786 | Rose Pearls

For my cards I used the Paper Pad and Collectibles – for quick and easy cards the paper pads are amazing. Plus what I love is that I am not cutting into the large sheets and wasting paper.
I used the circle elements from the sticker book and raised them to add some dimension and interest.
A quick scalloped edge punch adds interest to this card.
Clusters elements together for interest like the sticker circles and pearls. Some roses peaking out from under the circle adds more interest.

Until next time – I hope you are inspired to use those paper pads combined with all the other amazing products to create some quick cards.

Keep memories close to your heart

How gorgeous is this new range “Ladylike” – it is so pretty, and just the most beautiful colours – in pinks and greens and in blues and greys, so it makes the range really versatile.

Here is my a layout I created

Kaisercraft: Ladylike P2874 Rose; P2876 Jessica; PP1080 6″x6′ paper pad; SK820 Sticker Book; CR220 Curios; CT974 Collectables

Kaisercraft Product: 12 x 12 white cardstock; Foamtape

I started with using a piece of white cardstock and then tearin about 1 inch off end off the top and the bottom of the Rose paper, and adhered this to the cardstock. I then tore off about another 1½” from the top and the bottom of the Jessica paper and adhered this to the Rose paper.

The papers behind my photo, are from the 6″ x 6″ paper pad, and this was added to the page with foam tape (I have distressed the edges of these papers). Next I started layering the flowers from the Collectables and the Sticker book.

I started with the clock first adhered with foam tape, and then arranging the flowers also with foam tape too. When using the stickers I adhere foam tape or double sided tape under the stick and then coat the sticky part in talcum powder, and this takes the sticky away, and will not stick to your page or on anything else.

When tucking in the leaves, I usually bend these up so that it adds dimension to the cluster. The Keep Memories Close to your Heart title is out of the sticker book.

I have finished with adding a collectable tag and the butterfly to the cluster

Do all things with Love – by Hetty Hall

Good morning Kaisercraft Fans, welcome and thank you for popping in. I love this month’s new collection ‘Lady Like’, such gorgeous muted pinks and greens, my favourite colour combination.

PAPERS: P2876 Jessica | P2881 Patsy |
SK820 Sticker Book | CR220 Curios | DD3352 Lily Decorative Die |

For this layout I mainly used images from the Sticker sheet book to layer around my photo, I just love these cause as much as I love fussy cutting sometimes you just run out of time and need something nice and easy where all the hard work is done for you so these stickers did the trick just nicely. I also used the Lily decorative die and layered it underneath my flower stickers, the pop of white helps it stand out and the Lily die is beautiful and detailed in design, love it! I used a few cut outs from the reverse of ‘Patsy’ to create a background drop for my photo, finished it off with a couple of simply stunning matching Curios.

You will be able to find fully instructions for this layout here.

That is it for me today, happy crafting.

Until next time…

Lady Like – Group Post

Hello all! It’s the Design Team here today to share some inspiration for the Lady Like collections, using the Clear Stamp Set. We have an assortment of gorgeous project to show you, so scroll away!

Lisa Amiet

Lady Like Collection: PAPERS: P2875 Pearl, P2878 Delores, P2880 Mabel, P2881 Patsy, P2882 Evelyn

, IP747 Denim Ink

Hello! It’s Lisa here and I have created layout using the lace stamp from the Clear Stamp set, to stamp with Denim ink, a border at the top and bottom of my base page.
I have also used the stamps to stamp out some butterflies,
that I have fussy cut and adhered to my layout.

I am in love with this romantic floral collection and the stamp set is just the icing on the cake, as you are able to use it on layouts, cards and many other projects.

Other: Versamark Ink | Gold Embossing Powder | Zig Markers |Waterbrush Pen

For my card, I heat embossed the stamp using gold embossing powder and used my zig markers to colour the images in. I also used the border stamp on the side to add extra texture to the background. I masked part of the sentiment quote stamp and heat embossed it as well.

The Lady Like collection is just beautiful and I love the coordinating stamp set, especially the elegant butterfly and beautiful lace borders that are part of the set.

Products Used: CS374 Lady Like Stamp Set|P2877 Elsie Paper|P2874 Rose Paper|SB794 Snow Pearls|CS372 Paint Splatter Stamp|CD301 Snow Kaisercard|IP719 Black Ink Pad

I fussy cut the flowers & leaves from the Rose paper and stamped and fussy cut the butterflies and lace borders. I made my card blanks from Snow Kaisercard. I used the fabulous paint splatter background stamp on my card blanks, then arranged all my fussy cut elements onto them. For added interest and a bit of luxury I lined my envelope using the Elsie paper.

I hope I have inspired you to use the beautiful coordinating stamp sets.

I wanted to just add some finer details with the lace and floral stamps to my background nothing to overshadow the amazing details in the papers.
