One of the things that I am loving at the moment is getting back in touch with my stencils and playing with some ink….. it has been awhile.

Use some blender brushes through the stencil and keep building up the colours ….. dont like what you did? Dilute with water and add some more when its dry….. this will give some depth to the layout and background.

Add foam tape to different elements throughout the layout, this will add interest and also allow you to add more leaves and see glimpses of your mixed media work.

So I am off to catch some some sunshine…… till next time have a creative day.

Perfect Day Scrapbook Layout

Hello, Kaisercraft friends. It’s Donna here to share my layout using the Sunkissed collection.

You can download the PDF file HERE for this layout or click the main image above.

KAISERCRAFT PRODUCTS USED: SUNKISSED Collection: SUNKISSED Collection: P2904 Darquiri, P2908 Tutti Frutti, P2909 Martini, CT979 Collectables, CD301 Snow, KM122 Yellow, KM 125 Candy, EM405 Paper Doilies, T302 Foam Dots, LDB1056 Foam Tape, T321 Acid-free craft glue

I trimmed the white cardstock half an inch in each side and distressed the edges. Then I splattered some with Candy and Yellow Kaiser Mists. I placed this over DARQUIRI.

I fussy cut the wreath image from MARTINI and mounted it in the middle using foam tape for dimension. I fussy cut more flowers from TUTTI FRUTTI. I used lots of foam tapes to create varying height.

Thank you for dropping by today on the Kaisercraft blog. All supplies used in this layout can be found in the Kaiser Store.

Happy crafting,

‘Sunshine’ with Lisa Amiet

Hello Kaisercraft fans! It’s Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you all.
I have been playing with the ‘Sunkissed’ collection,
with all it’s glorious colours and a tropical feel

This is what I have come up with.

I have used the ‘Coconut’ paper as my base,
I loved the shade of pink and it’s grungy feel.
I have then fussy cut the floral and foliage frame from the ‘Martini’ paper,
and adhered it to my base page.

I have then used some of the Collectable and fussy cut foliage,
to build up more layers to the frame.

I have then added my photo and more layers of fussy cut elements.

I have curled some of the leaves and flowers, for more dimension to my page.

I have then added in some collectable butterflies,
and a title to my layers of foliage.

I have folded the wings of the butterflies up,
for a more realistic look.

Perfect for a photo of myself in Hawaii.
I love the tropical feel to this collection,
ideal for holiday photos.

I hope that you like what I have created with this collection,
and that it inspires you to create something today.

You can find the full instructions for this layout HERE.

Until next time!
Lisa

Favourite Day

Good morning how are you? Well I always joke about needing more time….. we are lucky as its a leap year and we have another 24 hrs…..what are you planning to do with your extra time? Myself I am here to finish off the month with a layout using the amazing Native Breeze.

You can download a PDF file HERE and if you want to follow along you can do so with a Process Video HERE

PRODUCTS USED:

PAPERS: NATIVE BREEZE Collection: P2856 Banksia Bouquet, P2858 Gum Leaves, P2860 Eucalyptus, P2861 Native Flock, P2862 Sundown, SK824 Sticker Sheet,

To start this layout I knew that I wanted the eucalyptus pattern to be further down the page to to move it I chopped off the bottom 3rd and then uses some of that to rip layers to add to the top…..

When sticking the strips down dont go to nuts with the tape because you want to add all the native flowers and fussy cutting in between those layers.

So have fun with your extra 24 hours and till next time have a creative day xxxxx

Celebrate Today

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. I cannot believe that we are approaching the end of the month, one that has been filled with so many highs and lows. I am sharing two projects that feature products from the Native Breeze Collection.

Kaisercraft Products: NATIVE BREEZE Collection – P2859 Wattle Flower |P2858 Gum Leaves |CB153 Corrugated Cardboard |CD651 Kraft Cardstock |CT976 Native Breeze Collectables | Decorative Dies: DD3334 Celebrate Today, DD441 Sari Texture

This collection is abundant with beautiful florals, that can potentially showcase so many occasions. I selected this title as I felt with so much sadness affecting us all with the bushfires, tragedies in the media we needed to find hope and some joy in our days.

My second project features the clear stamp from the collection. I stamped it onto Bristol smooth cardstock and used my zig markers to colour it in.

It is such a pretty stamp and watercolour markers really are easy to work with.

Australiana Dies

Love the look of dies but not sure of what to do with them? Kaisercraft has released a range of Australiana floral dies that not only compliment paper collections but can be used on their own.

Kaisercraft Products: CD511 Card Pack C6 White | Decorative Dies: DD812 Sketched Rectangle Frame | DD3351 Protea | IP743 Spearmint Ink Pad | CS916 Occassions Mini Clear Stamps | CD301 Snow Cardstock | CD302 Coal Cardstock

Other: Copic Markers | Versamark Ink | Clear Embossing Powder | Silver Embossing Powder | White Embossing Powder | Stick It Adhesive | 100 pound Cardstock

I was inspired by the protea die. After having a look at images online to see what colours to use, I explored a stained glass technique and decided that I would use this to showcase the die. I used my copic markers to colour the indentation of the die onto cardstock then heat embossed it with clear embossing ink to create the stained glass look. This technique could be used to create home decor items.

To view this collection of dies, stop by your local stockist or visit the online store.

Enjoy this fabulous layout featuring our Lady Like Collection.

“I chose the Lady Like Collection for this project because of the soft muted tones and feminine florals. You can use the three colours separately or combined on any project from cards to Off the Page. It’s a beautiful romantic collection for all occasions.”

Today I’m sharing a layout and quick tutorial using the Lady Like Collection from Kaisercraft. I had so many ideas and wasn’t sure which way to go, but eventually I settled on using lots of layers. This collection is so versatile, you can either use each colour separately or combined as I have done here. It’s such a soft, feminine, romantic collection that could be used for all occasions.

To start, I’ve taken the “Gertrude” 12×12 patterned paper to use as the base for this layout.
Take the “Delores” 12×12 patterned paper and cut it down to 11.5″x11.5″.
Take the “Elsie” patterned paper and cut it down to 10.75″x10.75″.
Next take another sheet of “Delores” 12×12 patterned paper and cut it down to 10.5″x10.5″ (Note: flip this piece over so the pink side is showing).

Once you have these layers, cut out a 9.25″x9.25″ square piece from the “Gertrude” base leaving approximately a two inch border on the base piece. This cut out piece will be another layer.
Then take a second sheet of “Elsie” 12×12 patterned paper and cut it down to 8.75″x8.75″ making sure to measure from the bottom left so you include the floral pattern. Distress and assemble all layers as shown below.

Take the “Rose” 12×12 patterned paper and fussy cut all flowers from the page. Adhere to the layout as shown. Next, take the “Patsy” 12×12 patterned paper and fussy cut all elements from the page. You will need the lace frame which I have cut down and adhered as shown below. The pink lace strip is from the sticker book, you will need both of these.

Because there’s so many layers, I popped the photo up on some cardboard to give the layout some extra dimension.

Once you have this base down, add further floral and elements from both pages and sticker book. Assemble as shown in the finished layout below. Randomly add some pink pearls around the page and on the floral photo cluster. Add some black pearls to the body of both butterflies.

Good morning Kaiser Fans, welcome back to the blog. Native Breeze is the stunning new collection this month and I love seeing another Australian collection with a really gorgeous colour palette.

For this layout I did a lot of fussy cutting and basically used these images to create my layout.

Together – Native Breeze

Hello!

And thank you so much for stopping by the blog. Today I have a simple layout to share with you.

Kaisercraft products: P2860 Eucalyptus | PP1084 Paper Pad | CT978 Collectables | FL665 Flourish Pack | DD3351 Protea Die

I am a massive lover of white backgrounds! I love that I can go nuts with lots of clusters and embellishments and put it on a white background and it just all pops. So thats how this layout came about.

First I made that lovely big cluster from the collectables back. I die cut two of the beautiful protea die and also ticked them under along with a doily just to soften it a little.

So by starting with making a little cluster it kind of already gives me an idea where my photo can sit.

I then cut a piece of the Eucalyptus paper and placed it down the right hand side of my page just to ground it a little. I added the branding strip too for a pop of extra colour.

I then made my paper cluster for my photo to sit on and adhere that to my page. Once that is all stuck down I can come back and add the extra details like the other two words (Favourite Day and Memories) which are from the collectable pack along with the wooden flourishes.

Some black stamping and some gemstones and my layout is complete!

Until next time – happy crafting!
