Explorer Travel single page

Welcome to the month of December! I can hardly believe how this year has flown by. But what I can believe is how hungry we all are for travel, for visiting new and exciting places, and for normal – whatever that may be. But one thing is for sure, this new collection is going to get us all excited for future travels and thankful for places we have been able to visit.

Kaisercraft Collection Explorer: CS384 Clear Stamps | CT984 Collectables | Collectables Sentiments | P2949 | Roam | P2951 Atlas |
I used the gorgeous map page to form a part of my background on this layout.
I added a die-cut word sentiment that I cut on my Cricut Maker next to the matted photo – the white of the sentiment forms a beautiful tone on tone effect but also makes for a nice backdrop for my collectible elements to sit on.
The raised elements using foam tape adds some nice dimension to this clustered group of elements. I repeated the white circles on top of the white sentiment – showing them off beautifully against the floral elements.
I used my stamp set to add some subtle stamping in the background. I used the stamp as is, not on an acrylic block and lightly tapped it onto a brown ink, before lightly touching it to my background. I love how the subtle effect adds to the distressed paper in the background.
Collectibles layered on top of fussy cut flowers.
Below the patterned paper strip I added some m ore stamping using the arrow from my stamp set. The arrow shows movement and also repeats the black in my collectible element and my photo.
Thanks for stopping by, until next time – keep on dreaming and traveling through your memories with this gorgeous collection!

Adventure | Scrapbook Layout

Hello, Kaisercraft friends. Donna here with my latest layout using the Explorer collection. I don’t have that many travel photos so I opted to make use of the “adventure” and “dream more” themes in the collection. I chose my daughter’s photo where she’s in a swing and her facial expression’s just priceless. The feel of the wind in her face and the swinging really high was already an “adventure” for this innocent little girl. So that’s the theme I went with.

Kaisercraft Products: Explorer Collection: P2946 Landmarks |P2947 Flight | P2949 Rome | P2952 Gloetrotter | CT984 Explorer Collectables

Other: Doily | White Embroidery Thread

I cut two papers and distressed the edges then adhered them to the background patterned paper (LANDMARKS – Reverse).

I used lots of foam tapes to give depth to most of the fussy cut and other elements on my layout like the photos, word arts, and ephemera from the Collectables pack.

I hope you liked my layout today… please do watch out for another inspiring project from another design team member.

Bon Voyage

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a layout which uses products and papers from Kaisercraft’s December release called Voyage. I think this is something we are all craving…some travel to have a break or even to reconnect with people and loved ones physically. I think the digital connections we have learnt to use have been a blessing but it isn’t the same as the real thing.

Kaisercraft Products: Explorer Collection: P2949 Roam |P2948 Postmarks | P2952 Globetrotter | CT984 Explorer Collectables| Paper Blooms: F630 Iceberg and F628 Honey | CS802 Postmarks Texture Clear Stamp | IP757 Permanent Black Ink Pad

Other: Stamens| Fiskars Edge Punch |Bling Stickers | Doily

The photo I have chosen has tones which compliment the papers but also tell a story. The girl is looking forward and to me maybe searching. In 2021, we could be searching for new things, a fresh start, new adventures, hope. I added the calendar beside the photo to indicate this as well.

The collectables have so many great elements that can be used to compliment the page. I used them as some layers and used mounting foam to add dimension.

I also added a doily and some flowers to add a vintage feel to my layout.

As always, stay safe and well.

Adventure Awaits

Good morning Kaisercraft fans and welcome to another blog post, it is Hetty with you today. This month there is another amazing new release called ‘Explorer’ and as you can see it is not only just useful for travel related pages.

Products Used:
Explorer Collection: PP Roam front and reverse | PP Flight – reverse |
CT Collectables

I started by tearing a piece from the ‘Flight’ paper and layered it on top of my background ‘Roam – reverse’. Next I fussy cut a lot of images from the front of ‘Roam’ and I mean a lot of images as you can see in the photos. I set these aside and started building my design. Simply start by adding your photo, add some dimension like cardboard to the back of your photo but do not adhere it yet. From the collectables pick a heap of images and start arranging these around and underneath your photo. Once happy with your design adhere it all to your background using dimensional tape. Always leave room underneath your images so you can tuck other items underneath later. Now start arranging all your fussy cut images, place them on top, tuck them underneath etc etc and use lots of dimensional dots. Once you are happy with your design adhere it all to your page.

That is it for me today, happy crafting.

Until next time…

Hugs

Hetty

Perfect Scrapbook Layout | Flower Shoppe

Hello, Kaisercraft friends. Donna here sharing my layout using the Flower Shoppe collection.

Kaisercraft Products: Flowers Shoppe Collection: P29379 Weather Board | P2939 Sunroom | P29412 Garden Path | P2942 Glass House | P2943 Full Boom | PP1089 Paper Pad | CT983 Collectables

Other: White Doily | Border Punch

I used GLASS HOUSE as the background for this layout. I adhered the GARDEN PATH paper and some paper strips from WEATHER BOARD cut with a decorative border punch. Then I placed the photos, one colored and one black (personal preference only), over a couple of white doilies in the middle of the layout. I’ve also fussy cute the cut parts from the FULL BLOOM paper as well as some butterflies from the 6.5 paper pad.

I used the direction where the photo is leaning towards and that is diagonally toward the right side of the layout. I started placing the embellishments that way, towards the lower right side of the layout.

Don’t throw away those product strips! Here, I used it to create my layout title. I used foam tape to create depth.

That’s it! I hope you like this layout and it inspired you to be creative today.

Pretty Floral Slimline Cards

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing two slimline cards using papers and products from the gorgeous Flower Shoppe Collection. Slimline cards are very on trend at the moment and I wanted to have a try at creating this type of card.

Kaisercraft Products: Flowers Shoppe Collection: P2939 Sunroom | P2940 Conservatory | CT983 Collectables | DD55 Round Fancy Frame Decorative Die | Paper Blooms: F630 Iceberg | F627 Coconut | F647 Iceberg Mini Paper Blooms | F672 White Handmade Flowers

Other: Hemp| Stamens|Banner Die

In this card, I wanted to use lots of flowers and the butterflies. I stacked the flowers over some die cut cuts, plus some collectable pieces. I also used some fish tails, to take advantage of the length of this card design.

To create the base of my cards, I used a strong A4 cardstock. I trimmed it down to 8″ x 9″. On a scoreboard, with the 8″ side facing the top, I scored it down the centre at 4″, creating a 4″ x 9″ card.

Kaisercraft Products: Flowers Shoppe Collection: P2943 Full Bloom | P2938 Afternoon | CT983 Collectables | DD369 Oval Vintage Frame Decorative Die | DD755 Lace Borders Decorative Die | CT989 Flower Shoppe Sentiment | CD301 Snow Cardstock

For my second card, I created the same cardbase as above and utilised the pretty collectables to decorate my card. To create a shabby chic look, I used some decorative dies as accents.

Happy crafting!

Home sweet Home Flower shoppe layout

Today on the blog I am sharing this single page created using the gorgeous Flower Shoppe range. I used a cut file, cut with my Cricut Maker and filled in with the patterned paper, creating a gorgeous backdrop for my photo.

Flower Shoppe Collection: P2943 | Full Bloom; P2942 | Glass House; P2937 | Weather Board; P2938 | Afternoon; P2939 | Sunroom; P2940 | Conservatory; P2941 | Garden Path; Collectables
Sentiments; CT983 | Collectables;
Cut out flowers and embellishments create some beautiful and soft details on top of the background.
I added some hand sewing on top of the white border, after backing the inside with my patterned paper sheets.
Using some sentiment strips from the Collectibles packet to add my words.
I love the simplicity of this layout and how it came together with the little details. Sometimes its the little things that make a big impact, and in this case my cut file is the perfct supporting element to this gorgeous paper – plus I get to use as much of the patterns by using them in smaller pieces.
I hope you are inspired to try something new using this amazing range. Until next time, stay safe Jowilna

Love You

Good morning Kaiser fans and welcome to another blog post, it is Hetty with you today. Flower Shoppe is this month’s new release and it is full of gorgeous pastel colours and flowers and don’t you just love that adorable watering can?

Products Used:
Flower Shoppe Collection: PP2942 Glass House | PP2939 Sunroom – front and back | CT983 Collectables

I started this layout by tearing the Sunroom paper in half on an angle and layered both pieces on top of each other, using the blue checker on the reverse side underneath. I think it creates a really neat effect. Next I chose my photo and adhered it slightly to the left of the layout. For the design part i went through my packet of collectables and picked out some pieces I might want to use and started playing around with it by adding them to my layout. Once I was happy with my design I added all the pieces with some foam dots to create dimension. It helps to take a photo of your work before you take all the pieces of for reference, I do this all the time.

It just goes to show you don’t need a lot of elements nor does it have to be difficult and time consuming to create a beautiful layout.

That is it for me today, happy crafting.

Until next time…

Hugs

Hetty

Believe | Whimsy Wishes Layout

Hello, Kaisercraft friends. Donna here with a scrapbook layout using Whimsy Wishes.

Kaisercraft Products:  Whimsy Wishes Collection: PP2961 Warm Wishes (Reverse) | P2963 Cold Outside (Reverse) | P2956 Night Sky (Reverse) | PP1092 Paper Pad |  CT992 and CT993 Collectables | FL673 Flourishes | RS447 Champagne |
Christmas Miracle – Acetate Specialty

I used WARM WISHES (Reverse) as the background for this layout. Then I cut two strips of COLD OUTSIDE (Reverse) and distressed and curled the edges.

I used several papers from the 6.5 paper pad and matted the photo. I also distressed the edges with my scissors. Then I framed the photo and paper stack with the acetate specialty from the Christmas Miracle collection.

I fussy cut some leaves from the NIGHT SKY (Reverse) paper and scattered it all throughout the layout as well as some ephemera/die-cut pieces from the Collectables.

I used the product strip from the WARM WISHES paper and added that to the title.

I hope you liked my project and I hope it inspired you to be creative today.
Thanks for dropping by and have a happy crafty day.
