Christmas Gifts

Hello everyone. I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing a layout that I have created using Kaisercraft’s Starry Night Collection. It has wonderful foil elements and deep blue papers which are a beautiful combination.

Kaisercraft Products: Starry Night Collection – P2828 Radiant |P2825 Glowing |P2823 Magic| GC107 Golden Glitter Cardstock CT970 Starry Night Collectables |Art Foam Sheets – SF916 Navy| SF902 Ivory and SF915 Wine |Decorative Dies – DD811 3D Layered Peony |SS493 Flora Leaves |DD484 Flora Pansy |IP756 Gold Ink Pad |SB712 Deep Yellow Rhinestones

OTHER : Stamens

To compliment my photos and papers, I created some art foam flowers using some rich, deep colours, accented with gold stamens. I also took advantage of using the glitter cardstock and die cut some leaves as well.

To balance the sentiment of my layout, I selected a navy/gold poinsettia from the collectables and cut it half and used it as an embellishment beneath one of my photos. I always place the mounting foam  in the centre of my photo mats so that I can tuck in any embellishments.

I was really drawn to this sentiment which features on RADIANT along with other inspirational quotes and sentiments. I added a start from the collectables and used mounting foam to make it ‘pop.’

SK816-Starry Night

Hello all, Annette here today sharing with you my project created with the new Christmas range ‘Starry Night’ of absolutely stunningly different colours from the norm, black/navy/grey with shiny gold foil on cream, so rich, so luscious. I chose a black /white photo matted on white cardstock & Magic (black with gold slatters).

I sprayed gold mist diagonally across the page then lots of fussy cutting of the poinsettias petals to singles, and gathering them, the collectables and buttercream roses I arranged a floral display to highlight the photo of my youngest granddaughter taken about 7 years ago ..

Some flicks of gold mist are then added over the page and flowers for extra shine and I added some amber glass beads to floral display for extra bling.

I hope you have been inspired to create your Christmas layout , you can download or print off my instructions by clicking HERE.

Happy Scrapping

Starry Night: Merry and Bright

Hi Everyone,

Happy Wednesday!!

It’s Trudi back with you today with another Starry Night collection showcase.

The foil elements and deep, rich toning’s make for a truly decadent and magical creative experience.

Kaisercraft Products: Starry Night Papers – P280 Daring, P2823 Magic, P2828 Radiant; PP1076 Paper Pad, CT970 Collectables, SK816 Sticker Book

The background paper is Magic and reminded me of the night sky with a million stars.  The night sky and stars were the inspiration behind the hand cut moon element.

Larger die cut stars sit behind the moon.   Around the base of the moon, fussy cut poinsettia’s from the Darling paper were layered with Collectables gold foiled flourishes.

Sticker elements, baubles and foiled stars (from Collectables) have been tucked in around the poinsettia’s.

Challenge #8 – Christmas Ornament

PAPERS: LET IT SNOW Collection: P2827 Astounding P2828 Radiant P2821 Modern
KC PRODUCTS: Collectables CT970, curios CR216, Wooden Flourishes

With Christmas just a whisker away it came to mind we all probably own or have seen a beautiful ornament that highlights what the season means to us, our families and friends. This little angel singing with such fervor belongs to a very dear friend and I photographed and framed it as part of my decorations. The quote reads: The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear, which is why I titled my layout Joy to the World…..

So your challenge is:
Create a layout/card/mixed media with your favourite ornament and upload to KaiserCraft Challenge Corner with the hashtag #kccornerchallenge8 at the bottom of your post so we can find it. Also there is an album set up in thje group to post your entries into as well. So head over to our facebook page to be in the running to win a prize … looking forward to seeing your takes on this challenge

.. best wishes Annette

JOY to the WORLD : I really enjoyed creating this Christmas layout, this range is so stunning and so different to the usual Christmas colours. I played with many ideas and combinations as the papers are so gorgeous and realized I was just fiddling around and it was now time to get serious….

Starting with a black cardstock base I added the gold holly leaves on cream and continued to build from there, adding some white doilies from my stash to soften the straight edges. I do distress my edges of papers as I prefer the slightly shabby look. Fussy cutting, collectables, wooden flourishes and curios adhered to the page with foam tape for extra dimension completed the layout. I hope I have inspired you today not only to do the challenge.

The full instructions for this layout is downloadable and/or printable from HERE.

Starry Night – Mini Album

Hey hey Kaisercaft fans!

It’s Jo – here with you today to share a mini album I created using the stunning Stary Night collection.

KC PRODUCTS: CT970 Collectables | SK816 Sticker Book | PP1076 Paper Pad

Making a mini album means that I can use so much of the pretty stuff in this collection.

I started by making my base pages using some nesting dies and attaching them to a hinge.

This is the inside cover with a pocket to add some extra photos
I have added some cardstock as a place to add your photos

There is a few pockets and secret hidden spots in my mini album which is a little hard to photograph but I hope you get the idea.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Until next time

Happy crafting

Being together is the best gift of all – Starry Night

Chrissy here today sharing my first project with you for September, featuring the striking and gorgeous “Starry Night” Kaisercraft collection. I love the gold foiling and strong colour palette in this collection and of course the poinsettias which are crying out to be fussy cut.

PAPERS: Starry Night: P2820 Daring|P2823 Magic|P2824 Miraculous|P2828 Radiant|CT970 Collectable Pack|SK816 Sticker Book|CS367 Clear Stamp

Kaisercraft Products: KM132 Gold Kaisermist|SB776 Bronze Rhinestones|GC107 Golden Glitter Card Stock|DD794 Ornate Pack 2 Decorative Die|CD313 Caramel Card Stock|CD606 Navy Kaiser Card
Other: Gold DMC Thread|black ink pad

I created my base using the Navy and Caramel and the gold Glitter card stock. On top of this I layered the Magic paper and the reverse of the Daring paper which was cut to shape and edged with the gold Glitter card stock which was die-cut using the Ornate pack no:2 – and some stitching using metallic gold thread.

I also sprayed some Gold Kaisermist to the top right hand corner and bottom left hand corner of my base.

The poinsettias on the Miraculous paper are just gorgeous, so I fussy cut these and layered them up.

The coordinating stamp set has some lovely elements on it – I stamped and fussy cut the little poinsettia’s.

I like to change the colour of my photo’s to match my papers, so added a vintage/gold tone to this photo which was originally a coloured photo. I added layers under my photo and stared to bulid up the rest of my layout.

There are some lovely collectables in this collection, I used the gold swirls and gold ornate flourishes from the pack to add interest around my photo.

I finished by adding all the fussy cut poinsettias around my layout & added some bronze rhinestones to finished.

I hope I have inspired you today to use this beautiful collection – Starry Night with it’s sophisticated gold foil elements. You can find the downloadable instructions here

Happy crafting!!!!

Merry Christmas – Starry Night

Hello friends

Michelle here with another gorgeous Christmas collection – Starry Night – there is just something spectacular about blue and gold … and this collection is just that – SPECTACULAR! Here is my layout:

Products Used: P2820 ‘Daring’, P2821 ‘Modern’, P2823 ‘Magic’, P2824 ‘Miraculous’, Sticker book ‘SK816, PP1076 6″x 6″ paper pad, CT970 Collectables, CS367 Clear stamp, IP747 denim ink pad, IP756 gold ink pad, SB712 yellow rhinestone, KM132 Gold shimmer Kaiser mist spray

P2823 is the base page – with the beautiful gold foil spots, I then adhered P2824 cut down to 11″x 11″. The flowers are all fussy cut from the P2820 paper and the same paper for the smaller flowers in the 6″x 6″ paper pad, as well as the collectables.

I cut two of the same flowers, and used one as a base and the other to build up the flower , only cutting three petals.

The leaves were fussy cut from P2821 and placed randomly under flowers. Photos have been framed with die cuts from the back pages of the 6″x 6″ paper pad. And stamp the leaves from the clear stamps, and stamp the poinsettia around the flower cluster.

I have added the gorgeous gold trees from the collectables tucked in under the frames and the tabs from the sticker book.
