Yes it’s that time again, where we go back in time and revisit some of our older Collections.
Today it is the gorgeous Whisper Collection. We have a beautiful vintage layout created by Karen Moss.
Here is what Karen had to say about this Collection.
“This layout is one that is close to my heart as it features my Uncle and my Mum when she was about 18 months. The Whisper range was perfect for this vintage photo. I have put this page into a box frame ready to give her for her Birthday later in the year.”
“I am an avid crafter embracing sewing, crochet and knitting but have to admit that paper crafting is my passion- with Scrapbooking at the top of my list. I spend many happy hours reliving the memories behind my photos as I scrap them.“
I am sure you will agree this is such a special layout – thank you Karen Moss.
Hello, Kaisercraft fans!
It’s Lisa here today to share some cards I have created using the stunning
Whisper Collection.
The Collection is full of natural elements and earth tones.
I wanted to show you how many different styles of cards you are able to create using the Paper Pad,
which has so much goodness in a small package!
The first card I created has a rough nature feel to it.
PAPERS: WHISPER Collection: PS554 Flora & Fauna Acetate, PP1060 Paper Pad. KC PRODUCTS: CT953 Whisper Collectables, CD501 White Square Card, CD651 Kraft 12 x 12 Cardstock, CB153 12 x 12 Corrugated Cardboard, Ink Pad – IP751 Chocolate, SB791 Pearls Pewter. OTHER: Twine, Cardboard
Lots of layers with this one. I have used some of the gorgeous patterned papers from the Paper Pad, and some kraft cardstock.
I have distressed and inked all the edges.
You can find the full instructions for this card HERE.
My next card has more classic and simple lines to it.
To highlight the truth of the sentiment 🙂

OTHER: Cardboard
I have layered pieces of the different patterned papers, which have been matted onto white cardstock.
I have also added some fussy cut foliage elements from the Flora & Fauna Acetate sheet.

My next card again has very simple lines, but I have gone for a darker feel with the black card stock and woodgrain.
CD603 Black Cardstock, CD501 Square White Card OTHER: Cardboard
Still a very natural feel to this card, with some gorgeous butterflies.
You can find the full instructions for this card HERE.
My next card has more of a grungy nature feel to it,
with curled edges and some gauze for texture.

Lots of layers of the papers from the paper pad, mixed in with some corrugated cardboard.

which I have fussy cut and tucked into my layers.

For my next card I have used some of the gorgeous foiled papers from the Paper Pad.
The cardboard and twine seem a perfect fit for the papers.

My final card is again featuring the nature theme.

Hi Guys, Kasia here today with something a little different.. a Traveller’s Notebook.
I have been memory keeping in a Traveller’s Notebook for some time now and when I saw the Whisper collection I thought it would be absolutely perfect to document some of the gorgeous plants in our garden. My husband is a gardener and although I can barely keep a succulent alive, I love plants, their textures and different shapes and taking photos of them.
I love dabbling in mixed media elements on my layouts. You may think of going overboard but for me, the wisdom lies in knowing when to stop, when you can take something away instead of adding that one thing, then you know you have created something special that focuses on the photo and the story
This range is perfect for those special memories where you may only have a single photo that you can use enlarged to tell your story.
Adhere two sheets of smooth white cardstock together using double sided tape.
Measure about 5cm (2”) from the bottom edge and add stenciling using modelling paste. Leave the paste to dry.
Use your Kaiser mists and add colour to the stenciled images. I combined brown and black together.
Leave the ink to dry. Adhere strips cut from Buff (reverse) patterned paper down the center of your layout on both sides. I used 3 strips of paper on each side.
Cut out elements from patterned papers to use as a backdrop to your photos. I cut pieces from Bisque, Organic and Raw. Arrange the elements to the left and right side of your 7×5” (18x13cm) photo.
Die-cut some leaves and wood chip from white cardstock.
Use your Kaisermists to add colour to the die-cut pieces. First spray the die-cuts with brown mist and then lightly with black mist. Mist with water to make the ink colours mix together and create a beautiful effect.
Adhere the die-cuts to your layout using gel medium or craft glue. Cut some of the wood chips in half and use both halves on your layout.
Add gel medium to the left and right side of your photo and sprinkle with craft sand. Leave to dry and then shake off the excess.
Cut out butterflies from Buff (reverse) sheet and adhere to your layout as per the sample image.
Use stickers and other embellishments to finish off your layout as desired.
A beautiful mixed media layout using the amazing range enhanced by the stunning die-cuts and Kaisermists now available. Remember to have fun and make this your own – use these steps as inspiration and guideline to creating your own masterpiece
Tatiana Yemelyanenko is here with you and I have a new layout to share. I chose Christmas photo in neutral colors for my project and combine it with not Christmas collection ‘Whisper’. I used diagonal cmoposition for the focusing on the photo.
