How Lovely are you Layout by Jowilna Nolte

Hi everyone Jowilna on the blog today with a single page layout using the gorgeous Miss Betty Collection.
I love this range for so many reasons but the soft colours combined with the vibrant pink is what really catches my attention.
How the range can be soft and romantic with a bit of spunk added into the mix.

Adding some more bright colour

I wanted to highlight the blue in the paper and elements but with a bit more oomph – so I used some liquid acrylic ink to my background.
I adhered some of my elements onto my background and then dropped the ink in selected areas with a quick water misting.
Then left everything to dry naturally. Once my layout was done I used the same ink and added some splats to pull everything together.

The rose sheet of paper just begs for some fussy cutting and they look amazing layered with elements. Add a butterfly on top
with only some adhesive in the middle so that wings can be free and add some movement.

This cute little birdie can be found all over including on the sticker sheet and make for a fun little detailed element.

Machine sewing adds some lovely texture and detail to this range of papers.

Elements from the sticker sheet layered with foam tape overlapping elements cut from the paper look beautiful.

A few key elements cut from your paper sheets can make for an economical layout – instead of buying everything in the range,
you can stretch your stash by using up every single bit of patterned paper.

And did you notice how I stepped out and actually worked on patterned paper as a background.
I love my white backgrounds because of the clean canvas it offers and the possibilities.
But I wanted to show how even making a mess onto patterned paper can be really effective when done subtly.

“These Are The Days” layout by Renee Aslette

Hello Lovelies,

It’s Renee here, to share with you a layout I created using the new Miss Betty Collection.

I have also used the Miss Betty Clear Stamps.  OMG!!  I am in love with these stitching stamps.

CS321 Miss Betty – Clear Stamp

This is how the layout turned out.

I knew instantly that I wanted to use P2483 Needlework (Reverse) as my background paper.

It had pieces of torn paper featured on a cream background.

I also knew that I wanted to get stamping using the Miss Betty Collection Clear Stamp Set CS321.

This is the background I created with some of the patterned paper and the stamps.  I used the Ink Pads – Black and Petal Pink.

Here are some close-ups:

As you can see I used the Square Stitching stamp from the Miss Betty Clear Stamps and I only inked the areas that would surround the patterned paper.

There are loads of layers on this layout.  I have also used stickers from the Sticker Sheet, Collectables and Wooden Flourishes all from this amazing collection.

To balance the right hand corner of the layout, I added some layers and stamping.

Here you can see the corner stitching from the Clear Stamps has been used.  I followed through with the same thing in the bottom left hand corner.

I used the ticket from the Sticker Sheet for the title of my layout “These Are The Days”.

A Beachy Wedding by Beck Beattie

Hi everyone and welcome to February!  Wow the year is already going quick.  My kids are back at school already and it is like they just left for holidays.  I do miss them when they are at school, but I’m happy to also know they are so happy to be there and enjoy all that school has to offer.  Today I am remembering the past and also something I love… the beach!  So I have created a scrapbook page perfect for all those beachy wedding pictures featuring the new Beach Shack collection.

Kaisercraft Products Used:

Beach Shack Pattern papers: P2470 Board Walk. P2471 Collecting and P2472 Foam

SS356 Beach Shack Sticker Sheet

IP724 Bark ink pad

Other Products:

White Gesso

Blending tool

I love the effects you can get with the wood panelled papers.  I cut Reverse BOARD WALK paper into strips of different lengths and using the blending tool and ink pad I finished each piece to create a little more depth by adding colours around the edges.

Here are some more pictures of my project.

I hope you have enjoyed my share today and a look at the new collection at work.

Happy Crafting!

” Perfect” Layout by Rikki Graziani

Good morning how are you all? Rikki here today its the first day back at school is happening this morning so beings the fun and chaos making sure the three kids are ready – lets face it there still on holiday mode and not showing signs that they will get out of it. So while I am running around saying your going to be late…

I am here today to share with you a layout using the stunning Kaisercraft Havana Nights.

Kaisercraft Products: Havana Nights Collection: P2452 Mosaic Tile| P2457 Ceramic | PS512 Bamboo – Die cut | SS354 Sticker Sheet | CT897 Collectables

P2452 Mosaic Tile is a wonderful sheet, you have so many options and of course I couldnt go past fussy cutting them out and then to give them a more interactive feel, I just doubled them up cutting them in the center and rolled out the edges….. too easy.

PS512 Bamboo – Die cut dont forget use your specialty papers as photo mat to add interest and another layer.

SS354 Sticker Sheet is the perfect addition to your layout especially if you want that fussy cut look without doing the hard work.

Well till next time have a creative day.

Watercolour Cards using Kaisercraft Stamps and Dies

Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a great crafting week. Today I am going to share two cards that I have created using stamps, dies and papers from the Havana Nights Collection by Kaisercraft. Kaisercraft always produce wonderful stamps and dies with each collection and I wanted to share how you can use them along with some simple watercolouring into your cardmaking.

For both cards, I used the white square card pack. The dimensions for the layers I have used are

– navy mat 13cm x 13cm

– TILED (patterned paper) 12.5cm x 12.5cm

– white strip 12.5cm x 5cm

– blue strips 12.5cm x 2cm

For this card, I used four stamps and two dies. All of the colours for the watercolouring were determined by the tiles in the paper.

Simple techniques and maximum impact!

My second card has the same layout as the previous card and also includes similar elements. It uses two dies and two stamps.

As the colour palette is restricted, the elements compliment each other and work together.

Below is video tutorial demonstrating the techniques and the construction of both of these cards.

‘Family’ layout by Tatiana Yemelyanenko

Hello!

Tatiana is here with you today and I’d like to share my new layout featuring Documented collecion. This time I chose my dad and uncle photography. I used clocks on my layout as a symbol of time, added number stickers ’59’ it’s a year when the photography was taken. There is a hanwritten text on the back side of the photo, so I decided to use photo corners and didn’t adhere photography on the page.

I also used negatives from the stickers.

As usual on the final steps I added splashes and rhinestones to my project.

“Moment Captured” Scrapbook Layout by Donna Espiritu

Hello, everyone! It’s Donna here sharing a scrapbook layout I created using the Documented collection

I also incorporated a few Wooden Flourish pieces from different packs to embellish my scrapbooking project today

Provincial

Bouquet

Garden

Here is my finished layout

I splattered a water-diluted white acrylic paint, some brown mists and watercolor to create the background

I first splattered the white acrylic paint followed by the brown watercolor. I let it sit for a few minutes before splattering the brown mist. I repeated this several times until I achieved the look I wanted

I preferred to leave the wooden flourishes bare/as is. I just added some pearls in the center.

The title is several layers of file I cut using an electronic cutting machine. A fine-tipped glue applicator is great to help for easy application of adhesive to small/tiny or intricate details.

To finish off the look, I scattered a mix of rhinestones and pearls all over the layout

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you liked my project using the Documented collection.

Happy crafting, xoDonnaxo

Hello everyone!!

Today i am sharing a layout with “Havana nights” collection. This collection has beautiful mix of different colors and patterns

which gives you endless possibilities.

The tile pattern is my favorite from the lot,i decided to highlight it on my layout.I cut a large tile of 8 inches as the base

of my composition and cut few smaller ones in 2 inches, matted them

on black cardstock and adhered it using foam tape.

For embellishing i used some fussy cut flowers and leaves along with the collectables.I have also added some smaller patterns

from the collectables randomly using foam tape for added interest.

Multi photo layout with Beck Beattie

Hi Everyone, it’s Beck Beattie here to share with you a multiple photo scrapbook page.  When I had the honour of joining the team one of the requests I had was to see some scrapbook pages that featured a number of photos.

While going through some old photos, I found some that were taken by my mother in-law on one of her last trips before she passed.  I thought how nice would it be to have some of these photos captured on scrapbook pages.  I’m honestly not sure of where exactly they are taken, but she took them and that makes them special to us.

I enjoyed layering some of the papers along with stickers from the sticker sheet to create a masculine look for this page.  This seemed perfect with the photos being of some of the big trucks out on the mines in the outback.  For additional interest I raised various areas to create a little more dimension to the page.

I hope you enjoyed my share which featured a multiple photo scrapbook page.  A sure fun way to get a number of pictures onto your page.

Happy Crafting!
