Flashback Friday – 23 August

We were discussing “BLASTS FROM THE PAST” and some of our older collections in our Kaisercraft Corner (group), what we liked, what we wished that we had again and many members were sharing some of their layouts using the older collections. Thank you so much for sharing – it was great to ready so many comments.

This layout jumped out at me, because this male Collection was originally designed with teenagers and guys in mind and i saw this little boy on the layout. So very cute!!!

“I was going through some older papers that I was going to throw out and came across these.

I looked at the scraps and thought, I can get another page from these before I throw them out so I did!

The adorable model is my beautiful grandson 2 years ago.” Rosi Snaidero

Loved that Rosi thought to whip up another layout – just created this. So often we buy a collection with a purpose in mind to match a certain couple of photos. How often do we throw out the leftovers before thinking about what could we make with them, even something a little different to the original purpose.
This has certainly me have a little look at all my leftovers and like Rosi cut some of them into strips to use on another simple but very effective page. Thanks Rosi for sharing this with us.

What do you do with all your leftovers?

Flashback Friday

With now winter well and truly upon with one of the coldest weeks we have had for sometime here in Geelong, I though I would look for a layout a little Wintery.

I didn’t have to look far before I stumbled across the layout by Denise Holmes, a regular contributer to our Kaisercraft corner using one of last years Christmas collections – WONDERLAND

As soon as I saw the Wonderland Collection, I fell in love with it. To me it captured the cosines of snowy winter days and the colour tones were just beautiful. It really inspired me and caught my imagination to record those happy times of snowy trips away and time at home too. It was a joy to use .These are the other layouts I made with it ” Denise Holmes

What I really like is that she used our advent page – see below (originally designed to put on the fronts of the drawers of our Advent Calendars) as a background for her layout. What a great way to use the page.

With the leftovers of the collection she also created the following pages.

Thanks Denise for supporting and sharing your creations with us all in the Kaisercraft Corner.

Flashback Friday

With over 200 new members joining our facebook group just this week alone, the amount of projects being posted has increased as well. I have loved looking back over the projects you have been creating and smiling when i see an older collection featured.

This is one layout this week that caught my eye. Not sure why maybe the mixed collections being used, the bright yellow, clean lines and one of my old favourite die cut papers you have used.

Plus I love the way you have incorporated the wooden pieces into your floral clusters.

Using up some old Kaisercraft papers today. These are from the Madame Boutique Collection and the stickers are from Hello Today. Proves how versatile these ranges are to mix and match”

thanks for sharing with us Debra – please contact Melissa.k@kaisercraft.com.au for a little prize pack being sent your way.

Flash Back Friday

Yes it’s that time again, where we go back in time and revisit some of our older Collections.

Today it is the gorgeous Whisper Collection. We have a beautiful vintage layout created by Karen Moss.

Here is what Karen had to say about this Collection.

This layout is one that is close to my heart as it features my Uncle and my Mum when she was about 18 months. The Whisper range was perfect for this vintage photo. I have put this page into a box frame ready to give her for her Birthday later in the year.”

“I am an avid crafter embracing sewing, crochet and knitting but have to admit that paper crafting is my passion- with Scrapbooking at the top of my list. I spend many happy hours reliving the memories behind my photos as I scrap them.

I am sure you will agree this is such a special layout – thank you Karen Moss.

Flash Back Friday

Hi everyone, today we are looking back at the With Love Collection.
This amazing exploding box was made by LuLu Harris.

Lulu had this to say about her project using With Love Collection.

This is the box I made with the With Love Collection! I fell in love with the gold foil in this collection and the butterflies! I am glad to see everyone loves it as much as I do it’s one of 3 boxes I have made so far .”

We love your project Lulu – thanks for sharing it with us.

Flash Back Friday

Hi Everyone – we are back again to feature two fabulous projects created using our Scrap Studio Collection.

First we have two beautiful tags created by Susanna Easdale.

This is what Susanna had to say about Scrap Studio Collection.

“I just loved the Scrap Studio collection – it was so Vintage in style which l just adore and really inspired me to make these tags for my Journal.” – Susanna Easdale

Here is our second project using the Scrap Studio Collection – a beautiful canvas created by Emillie Chamel for her baby daughter’s room.

Here is what Emillie had to say about Scrap Studio.

“This collection was actually the first lot of scrapbooking stash I bought in over 5 years as I stopped scrapping due to “life getting in the way. I was pregnant with my baby daughter when it came out and matched perfectly the colour combination I had planned for her nursery. I just love the pink and blue combination and adore all the gorgeous butterflies and as I am a “white” rather than “cream” kind of scrapper this was perfect for me!

We hope you are enjoying our Flash Back Friday creations! Thanks Susanna and Emillie for joining us this week.

Flashback Friday – Two Souls Collection

This stunning Collection has been used to create Wedding Invitations, Christening Announcements, and Wedding Albums due to its soft tones.
We have found some gorgeous layouts created by Denise Holmes,
shared in our Facebook Group – Kaisercraft Corner, that we would like to feature.

Denise Holmes has created this beautiful layout for her middle son’s Wedding,
using the Two Souls collection.
Denise used a black and white photo which blends perfectly with the muted tones of this Collection.

Here is a little of what Denise had to say about what inspired her to create these gorgeous layout.

“I was inspired by the beautiful tones of the collection together with the lace and flowers which went perfectly with wedding photos. I loved the splashes of green in the collection too. The lace on the papers echoed the brides dress in my layout..’

“The flowers from the collectibles were just beautiful to cluster together as embellishments on this layout. I inked through just the dress of the stencil with green ink to go frame the layout.”

I am in love with this layout. I really like how Denise has created the wreath on her layout, using a mix of the Collectables, Stickers and those gorgeous Curios.

If you would like your project to be featured on the Kaisercraft Blog, all you need to do is share your creations in our Facebook Group – Kaisercraft Corner.
We are always on the lookout for projects from our members to be featured.

I hope you have enjoyed looking back on this collection with us!
Until next time!

Flashback Friday – Paisley Days

Hello all! It’s Lisa here today to reminisce with you.
Today we are looking back on the Paisley Days collection.
I fell in love with the gorgeous florals and colours in
this collection, as did many of you.

So we would like to share with you a couple of our favourite projects,
created by our awesome Kasiercraft fans,
and shared in our Facebook Group Kaisercraft Corner.

Paisley Days Collection: P2737 Good Vibes, P2734 Soul, P2731 Gypsy, P1066 Paper Pad, CT959 Collectables, Pearls SB716 Blush & SB793 Black, Rhinestones SB712 Deep Yellow.

This gorgeous layout was created by Karen Moss.
I love how she has used the papers to create multiple frames and the gorgeous clusters of flowers.
Here is a little about what inspired Karen to create this layout.

“I loved the framing effect of the Good Vibes paper, so I removed the centre of the 12 x 12 piece,
and added the small frame from the paper pad.
The little Polaroid frames were perfect to hold my photo and to embellish.
It is such a bright and happy range that I chose a bright and happy photo of my husband and I, our daughter and her partner and our two dogs to compliment it.
The Collectables made it so easy to add the finishing touches.”

Thank you so much Karen for sharing your gorgeous layout!

The next layout that caught my eye was one from Gwen Wruck.
Gwen has created a layout dedicated to that special place in all of our hearts….. her scrap room!!

Paisley Days Collection: P2732 Smiles, P2736 Groovy, SK806 Sticker Book,
CT959 Collectables, CR206 Curios.

I love all that clean white space with gorgeous colours and florals.
I also like how Gwen has used the papers from the collection to back the cut file,
that she has used for her title.
Here is a little about what inspired Gwen.

“I have been meaning to document my scrap space for years now.
As soon I saw this pretty collection I knew it would be the perfect match for my photos.
I just love all of the florals and those pastel colours.”

Thank you so much for sharing your layout Gwen, we love it!

So don’t forget if you would like to see your layout featured here on the Kaisercraft Blog,
all you need to do is keep creating and share your projects in our Facebook Group.
You can also find lots of challenges, chances to win prizes,
and best of all you will find inspiration and support from some wonderful scrapbookers!

Until next time!
Lisa

Flashback Friday – Breathe

Breathe was the second collection released in March and there have been some great projects that we seen shared our the Kaisercraft corner. When searching them these ones took our eye and then saw they were all by the lovely Roxanne Smith. She didn’t just share one but two singles and a double. What an awesome effort and great layouts, that we hope inspires you to have a play with this collection. Thanks so much for sharing your creations with us Roxanne.

A few words from Roxanne:
I am totally in love with the blue papers and quotes of the Kaisercraft Breathe Collection! I managed to create three layouts using just these papers with complementary touch of the pinks. The inspiration behind this double layout was the bold but symmetrical of the Joyful Days paper. I incorporated this symmetry into the double layout and embellished with the gorgeous flowers from the Efflorescence paper. The quotes from the Clear Skies paper and some silver glitter cardstock then highlighted the angelic photos I have used.Β I absolutely loved using this collection πŸ’™

Finished my first page with the Kaisercraft Breathe Collection πŸ’™πŸ–€. I was trying to keep everything at angles until I added the blue Oxide Ink πŸ˜‚ then it just turned to a typical “boy” page πŸ˜‚. – Roxanne

I am very excited to get a second layout done while still in the release month for this collection πŸ˜. I didn’t like the pink in this collection very much to begin with until I feel in love with the large saying I used in this layout. Then I came to enjoy the pink highlights πŸ’Ÿ. They will even feature in my next layout with this collection πŸ€. -Roxanne

Made it to a third layout in a month with a current collection πŸ˜. I created this double layout using the Kaisercraft Breathe collection. I just love the blues of this collection and touches of pinkπŸ’—. I also added some silver glitter stock to highlight the angelic photos πŸΆπŸ‘Ό. I love my new photo model too!

You have every reason to be proud of yourself Roxanne as the projects you have shared are gorgeous projects that you have created.

Thank you for being an active part of our KAISERCRAFT CORNER community.

Flashback Friday – Greenhouse

In March we released the collection Greenhouse collection which featured all those beautiful succulents that you can fussy cut and layer.

As it’s Friday and almost the start of our weekends (for many of us), we thought that you may want a little more inspiration on how you use up some of those new collections you have purchased and stashed away.

Each Friday, myself or one of our design team will trawl back through the archives of our Facebook Group – “Kaisercraft Corner” and see what takes our eye from past collections and share with you.
So peeps, if you would love your creations shared here on our blog, make sure anything you create using our new collections is shared to this page so we can all see it – and next time you may see your work featured here in one of our “Flashbacks”. Even if you don’t get featured – the group is a great community to share in your love of the Kaisercraft brand and be inspired.

I hope you enjoy the gorgeous eye candy below as much as we have.

The following double layouts are ones that Michelle Van Wyk has created. She has a kit club in South Africa that she runs with her friend Jenny – The Scissor Sisters

What i love about the above layout is that the section on the right opens up to reveal more space for another one or two photographs.

How sweet is this next layout that was created by Chrissy Tingey of Merely Impressions.
I just love how all those succulents seem to be jumping off the page at me and all that stitching – just the patience involved in doing this is mind boggling – to me anyways.
– Gorgeous –

The Greenhouse Collection has been so popular that many of the single sheets and paper packs have sold out from our warehouse but you still may be able to get your hands on some from your local Scrapbook or Retail store – however if you can’t seem to find any, we still have available all of those beautiful designs in an awesome 12″ paper pad.
Head over to our online store for more details.
