Deep Sea Specialty Papers Layout Tutorials

Deep Seas Specialty Papers

Hello Kaisercraft fans!
It’s Lisa here today to share some layouts
with you featuring the gorgeous Deep Sea Specialty Papers.

As Free as the Ocean
For this first layout I have used the ‘Mermaid Scales’ specialty paper.

PAPERS: DEEP SEA Collection: PS550 Mermaid Scales, P2658 Tide, P2659 Sea Floor, P2663 Snorkel, PP1058 Paper Pad.
KC PRODUCTS: CT951 Deep Sea Collectables, CD101 12 x 12 Coconut Cardstock
OTHER: Cardboard

This range is a gorgeous ocean themed collection that was perfect for my visit to Turtle Reef.

I have used SNORKEL (reverse) and SEA FLOOR(reverse), to create frames for my layout.
I have then used white cardstock for the centre.

I have fussy cut rows from the ‘Mermaid Scales’ specialty paper, then layered with cardboard for extra dimension.

I have adhered to opposite corners of my layout.

Fussy cut sea life and collectables have been layered for the sea floor.

I have then added my photo and sentiments that have been raised for dimension.

A close up of the gorgeous elements!

You can find the full instructions for this layout below.

Wild and Free
My second layout is using the awesome Seashell Gloss specialty paper.
Such a fun paper, I have fussy cut and raised it with cardboard.

PAPERS: DEEP SEA Collection: PS549 Sea Shell – Gloss, P2658 Tide, P2662 Anemone,

P2664 Deep Blue, P2665 Sea Shell, P2666 Sand Bar,

PP1058 6 x 6 Paper Pad, CD101 12 x 12 Weave Cardstock – Coconut
KC PRODUCTS: CT951 Deep Sea Collectables, SS377 Deep Sea Sticker Sheet,

Kaiser Mists – KM121 White, KM127 Turquoise, KM129 Navy
OTHER: Gauze

A little bit of fussy cutting for this layout.

Lots of layering and some gauze for texture.

I have layered the fussy cut anemones and sea life with some of the collectables, some raised for dimension.

You can find the full instructions for this layout below.

I hope you like what I have created with these two specialty papers, they were great fun to work with.

Foam Flower Tutorial with Bonus Layout.

Art Foam Flowers

We create for many different reasons,  sometimes for pleasure or perhaps to capture a precious memory or occasion that has happened in our lives.

Finding the right paper or embellishment can help us to achieve the reason why we have started to create in the first place.

Creating flowers adds an element of beauty to layouts.  They can be used in both masculine and feminine layouts.

By making them feel ‘vintage’ you certainly can  see how effectively they  compliment photos and papers.

Varying the size of the flowers also adds interest to layouts .

To learn how to make these flowers, watch the tutorial below.
