‘Sunshine’ with Lisa Amiet

Hello Kaisercraft fans! It’s Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you all.
I have been playing with the ‘Sunkissed’ collection,
with all it’s glorious colours and a tropical feel

This is what I have come up with.

I have used the ‘Coconut’ paper as my base,
I loved the shade of pink and it’s grungy feel.
I have then fussy cut the floral and foliage frame from the ‘Martini’ paper,
and adhered it to my base page.

I have then used some of the Collectable and fussy cut foliage,
to build up more layers to the frame.

I have then added my photo and more layers of fussy cut elements.

I have curled some of the leaves and flowers, for more dimension to my page.

I have then added in some collectable butterflies,
and a title to my layers of foliage.

I have folded the wings of the butterflies up,
for a more realistic look.

Perfect for a photo of myself in Hawaii.
I love the tropical feel to this collection,
ideal for holiday photos.

I hope that you like what I have created with this collection,
and that it inspires you to create something today.

You can find the full instructions for this layout HERE.

Until next time!
Lisa

Celebrate Today

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. I cannot believe that we are approaching the end of the month, one that has been filled with so many highs and lows. I am sharing two projects that feature products from the Native Breeze Collection.

Kaisercraft Products: NATIVE BREEZE Collection – P2859 Wattle Flower |P2858 Gum Leaves |CB153 Corrugated Cardboard |CD651 Kraft Cardstock |CT976 Native Breeze Collectables | Decorative Dies: DD3334 Celebrate Today, DD441 Sari Texture

This collection is abundant with beautiful florals, that can potentially showcase so many occasions. I selected this title as I felt with so much sadness affecting us all with the bushfires, tragedies in the media we needed to find hope and some joy in our days.

Kaisercraft Products: NATIVE BREEZE Collection – PP1084 Paper Pad | CD101 Coconut Cardstock |CS378 Native Breeze Clear Stamp |DD547 Circle Vines Decorative Die |F651 Sunset Mini Paper Blooms |F663 Hot Pink Paper Blooms

OTHER: Zig Markers |Versamark Ink |White Embossing Powder |Gold Embossing Powder |Bristol Smooth Cardstock |Waterbrush Pen |Corner Rounder |Hemp

My second project features the clear stamp from the collection. I stamped it onto Bristol smooth cardstock and used my zig markers to colour it in.

It is such a pretty stamp and watercolour markers really are easy to work with.

Together – Native Breeze

Hello!

And thank you so much for stopping by the blog. Today I have a simple layout to share with you.

Kaisercraft products: P2860 Eucalyptus | PP1084 Paper Pad | CT978 Collectables | FL665 Flourish Pack | DD3351 Protea Die

I am a massive lover of white backgrounds! I love that I can go nuts with lots of clusters and embellishments and put it on a white background and it just all pops. So thats how this layout came about.

First I made that lovely big cluster from the collectables back. I die cut two of the beautiful protea die and also ticked them under along with a doily just to soften it a little.

So by starting with making a little cluster it kind of already gives me an idea where my photo can sit.

I then cut a piece of the Eucalyptus paper and placed it down the right hand side of my page just to ground it a little. I added the branding strip too for a pop of extra colour.

I then made my paper cluster for my photo to sit on and adhere that to my page. Once that is all stuck down I can come back and add the extra details like the other two words (Favourite Day and Memories) which are from the collectable pack along with the wooden flourishes.

Some black stamping and some gemstones and my layout is complete!

You can find the downloadable instructions here

Until next time – happy crafting!

Trampoline fun!!

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you a layout I’ve created using the stunning – Native Breeze collection this range features a bold & striking colour palette and beautiful life-like imagery of banksia, protea & gum leaves – which I have fussy cut and arranged around my photo.

Products Used: Native Breeze – P2856 Banksia Bouquet|P2858 Gum Leaves|P2860 Eucalyptus|P2863 Flowering|

Kaisercraft Products: CD342 Shadow Kaisercard|CD328 Magenta Kaisercard|KM125 Candy Kaisermist|KM129 Navy Kaisermist|

Other Products: Pink & Navy DMC thread

After fussy cutting loads of flowers & leaves from the Gum Leaves, flowering and Banksia Bouquet papers, I then made my base I also hand stitched in two coordinating colours and added my photo.

I then started to arrange all those beautiful fussy cut embellishments around my photo, in the bottom right hand corner.

…..and top left hand corner. To give height I added foam pads to some of the flowers, I also like to curl them, I think this adds extra interest and dimension

I love this photo of my daughter, she always had so much fun on her trampoline, we captured this lovely image of her in mid air. Even though this is an Australian themed collection, I think it can be used with all sorts of photo’s.

To finish off my layout I dotted about some fun words

I hope I have inspired you to use this beautiful collection……it works with all sorts of photo’s. I look forward to seeing your creations over on Kaiser Corner.

Lily & Moss – Live in the Moment

Hi Everyone, today on the blog I am sharing with you a layout I’ve created using the beautiful Lily & Moss Collection – the range features pretty pinks & greens and a variety of textures with an artistic feel.

Products used: Lily & Moss Collection|P2883 Pink Plaster|P2886 Flicker|P2887 Flora|P2888 Whirl|P2890 Primary|P2891 Circular x 2
KC Products: SK823 Sticker Book |CT977 Collectables |CD Thyme Kaisercard|DD3352 Lily Decorative Die|RS402 Island Lagoon Rhinestones

Other: Green DMC thread

Once all the base layers were cut to size and matted together I then start to fussy cut all the beautiful flowers and butterflies. If you don’t have enough from the papers, check out the sticker book & collectable packs – I stuck the stickers onto paper then fussy cut around them – I also cut the white edges from the collectables.

I also fussy cut the frames from the P2891 Circular paper, hand stitched around them and layered these onto the base papers

There are so many beautiful flowers in this collection and along with the Lily Decorative Die, I arranged these around my black and white photo.

To give some height to the flowers and embellishments I use foam pads

I love the P2888 Whirl paper, it looks great behind the frames and the stitching & black butterflies finish off the layout.

I hope I have inspired you to use this beautiful collection and look forward to seeing your creations over on Kaisercraft Corner – you can also purchase the Lily & Moss collection here

Challenge # 15 Scraplift

Hello everyone. Welcome to Challenge # 15! I made a list of challenge ideas with the whole team and one of the ideas is a Scraplift challenge. We all agreed this is gonna be fun and interesting! Now, for the challenge, all you have to do is scraplift a Kaisercraft DT members’ layout or card!

Post your layout or card along with the photo/image of the project you scraplifted and the DT member’s name as well, of course.

I chose this layout by Hetty Hall.

And here is my take on her layout

Kaisercraft Products Used: Lily & Moss Collection: P2885 Ombre, P2889 Chalky, P2888 Whirl, SK823 Sticker Book, CR223 Curios, CT977 Collectables
SB786 Rose pearls, IP724 Bark inkpad, EM405 Doily, T315 Double-Sided Tape, T303 Foam Tape, T321 Acid-Free Craft Glue

I just love all the flowers and the layers of papers under the photo.
I inked the edges of the papers and lifted them a bit for texture. I also used foam tape to give the papers and flowers dimension.
I scattered tons of pink pearls to mimic the scattering of flowers.

Interpretation is all up to you but we would love to see the resemblance at least from the original. Like on my layout, instead of scattering flowers, I scattered pearls instead. I also added some stickers and doily.

A Design Team member will choose two submissions just before the next challenge starts which will be on February 8th, 2020 – so you could be in with a chance to win a collection pack.

For your chance to win upload a photo of your project to the KAISERCRAFT CORNER Facebook group with the hashtag #KCCHALLENGE15SCRAPLIFT and add the photo to the CHALLENGE #15 Photo Album (this needs to be done for your entry to count).

Good luck everyone and I look forward to seeing all your projects.

Challenge #14 Winners In no particular order are:

Kylie Coleman

I love all stitched hearts and the patterns peeking under them. Great choice of patterns and the paper strips and flowers on the bottom of the photo balanced everything prettily.

Helen Barker

What I love about this layout are the choice of bold color background, the blocks of squares and the well-balanced placement of all the elements.

Congratulations, ladies!
Please contact Danka via email at – danka.e@kaisercraft.com.au – with your address and what number challenge winners you are… thank you!
You can see other entries in this challenge over on the Kaisercraft Corner Facebook page in the album section of the group.

Happy crafting!
