My name is Hetty, born and raised in The Netherlands I came to Australia late 1989. I live in a small seaside town in Queensland with my husband of 27 years and our three teenage girls.
I have been paper crafting since 2004 and my style is constantly changing while I teach myself new techniques and try to stay up to date with the latest trends. My signature technique would have to be ‘fussy cutting’, and now try to incorporate it with mixed media and the many gorgeous flowers on the market these days.
In the past I have enjoyed designing for Australian companies, KaiserCraft, Addicted to Craft, Scrapware and several online stores as well as working in a few local brick and mortar stores. I have had several of my layouts published in Australian magazines as well as overseas. In 2009 I was extremely fortunate to have been chosen as one of Scrapbooking Memories Magazine ‘Masters’, which I enjoyed immensely.
After a bit of break for about a year or so I am now designing for USA based 49 and Market who manufacture beautiful papers and flowers, was extremely lucky to have been invited by Melissa to teach on one of her cruises this year and of course now I am back on the KaiserCraft team.
I love my creative time away from the hustle and bustle off everyday life and having been invited back on the Kaisercraft team has been both humbling and exciting. I cannot wait to share with you my passion for the paper craft industry and show you a few tips and techniques to inspire you along the way.
