I am using products from Kaisercraft’s Christmas Miracle kit. This collection is traditional, vintage and gorgeous. That was my inspiration for my design choices but I wanted to do something a little bit different which is why I chose to make the pop and twist design.
Below is a video tutorial for you to follow if you would like to create this card.
Hello everyone! I hope that you have had a great week. Today I am sharing another Christmas card with you. This time it is with Kaisercraft’s second Christmas release which is called Emerald Eve. This has a more traditional feel, which I do like in Christmas cards.
Hi Everyone, Chrissy here today sharing my second project for September, featuring the lovely Peppermint Kisses Kaisercraft collection. I love the playful imagery in this collection so decided to use a photo of my daughter when she was younger, she always had to sit under the tree and have her photo taken with her toys.

OTHER:Red DMC thread
I created my base using snow Kaisercard, Minty, Ho Ho Ho & Under the Tree papers. I have also added some splashes of red & gold Kaisermist.
Of course I had to do some stitching, so before matting them all together I added this along the lengths of some of the strips with bright red thread.
Now for my favourite part – fussy cutting all the cute embellishments to decorate my layout with. I fussy cut all the pink & red poinsettias from the Fun & Festive, Ho Ho Ho and Santa & Co papers and fussy cut the very cute Nut Crackers and Reindeer.
I then layered up the poinsettias to give some dimension.
After adding my photo to the centre of my layout I then start to arrange all the fussy cut elements around it.
I like to add foam pads to some of the elements to give that little extra height and dimension.
To finish off I have added a title using one of the sayings from the papers and added some red pearls to the centres of the poinsettias .
This Christmas collection is just the cutest and I hope I have inspired you to use it.

Chrissy here today with a Peppermint Kisses project – this collection is so pretty and playful so I decided to use it on the brand new Christmas Advent box.

When ever I make up a Beyond the Page project, especially a storage item with lots of parts, I like to do a dry run of putting it together first, as I don’t want to be fussing about wondering where all the parts go once it has been painted & papered.
I would usually paint any edges and paper any parts before putting it all back together. But this time (as I wanted the paper to cover the joins I decided to put the main parts back together again minus the little dividers and paint it like that. I used white paint so it did need a few coats.
I then painted the little dividers (above) but left the little bits that slot into the Advent unpainted, if you paint these they will be to tight to slot into the holes.
I chose to use double sided tape to assemble the little drawers, then to cover each drawer I cut a strip of paper the same height as the drawer and long enough to wrap around three sides plus a few millimetres etc at each side of the front.
To cut the finger hole into the square piece of paper for the front of the drawers, I used the drawer as a template and marked the shape of the finger hole before cutting it out
Once all the little drawers were covered with my chosen papers I slotted them into place and once I was happy with their position I added the numbers.
I covered the top and sides of the Advent with the holy jolly paper and covered the back of the advent aperture with the spotty paper from the paper pad and fussy cut all the fun images from the Santa & Co & Fun & Festive papers, then arranged them in the centre of the advent, I used lots of foam pads to give height and dimension.
To finish off I added pearls to the little drawers and distressed the edges of them, I wanted to give them a kinda snowy effect.
I hope I have inspired you to create a Christmas Advent Calendar – this item would look fabulous decorated with any of Kaisercraft’s Christmas collections. You can find all the products over on the Kaisercraft website: https://www.kaisercraft.com.au/
There is something about the Traditional Christmas Collection that beings back so many memories from childhood, whether its Candy Canes, Peppermints or Toy Soldiers, this collection has all of this and so much more.
Peppermint Kisses is one of this months NEW Christmas Collections – IN STORE NOW and I was so happy with all the little details I just knew I had to fussy cut some of them out to showcase them.
Chrissy here today sharing my first project with you for September, featuring the striking and gorgeous “Starry Night” Kaisercraft collection. I love the gold foiling and strong colour palette in this collection and of course the poinsettias which are crying out to be fussy cut.
Kaisercraft Products: KM132 Gold Kaisermist|SB776 Bronze Rhinestones|GC107 Golden Glitter Card Stock|DD794 Ornate Pack 2 Decorative Die|CD313 Caramel Card Stock|CD606 Navy Kaiser Card Other:Gold DMC Thread|black ink pad
I created my base using the Navy and Caramel and the gold Glitter card stock. On top of this I layered the Magic paper and the reverse of the Daring paper which was cut to shape and edged with the gold Glitter card stock which was die-cut using the Ornate pack no:2 – and some stitching using metallic gold thread.
I also sprayed some Gold Kaisermist to the top right hand corner and bottom left hand corner of my base.
The poinsettias on the Miraculous paper are just gorgeous, so I fussy cut these and layered them up.
The coordinating stamp set has some lovely elements on it – I stamped and fussy cut the little poinsettia’s.
I like to change the colour of my photo’s to match my papers, so added a vintage/gold tone to this photo which was originally a coloured photo. I added layers under my photo and stared to bulid up the rest of my layout.
There are some lovely collectables in this collection, I used the gold swirls and gold ornate flourishes from the pack to add interest around my photo.
I finished by adding all the fussy cut poinsettias around my layout & added some bronze rhinestones to finished.
I hope I have inspired you today to use this beautiful collection – Starry Night with it’s sophisticated gold foil elements. You can find the downloadable instructions here
Hello everyone! I hope that you having a great week. Today I am sharing
two projects which have been inspired by one paper design. I was really
drawn to the cottages/houses on the COMBI CHRISTMAS reverse paper which
is part of the Peppermint Collection this month. I fussy cut some out
and used them to create a card plus two shaker ornaments.
Kaisercraft Products: Peppermint Kisses Collection – P2815 Combi Christmas |P2816 Minty |P2817 Santa and Co |CD302 Coal Cardstock |GC104 Crystal Glitter Cardstock
|CT969 Peppermint Kisses Collectables| CD503 Card Pack Square Black
Other: ¾” punch |snow globe template or die.
I created a snow globe, and used the cottages as part of the scene. I kept the design fairy simple, so that if someone wanted to make these in bulk, it would be manageable.

My second use of the cottages was using them to create shaker ornaments.
I created my ornaments by combining Kaisercraft nested circle dies to
create a large round shape in order to create a Christmas scene. I
selected trees from the collectables and used white cardstock to create a
I also stamped a sentiment on the back, so these could also be used a gift tag at Christmas time.
To make these shaker ornaments, watch the tutorial below.

Happy day everyone!! It’s Deanna joining you today with two fabulous cards and I couldn’t be MORE EXCITED!! I am absolutely thrilled with this new collection from Kaisercraft–and it is dear to my heart!! I had the pleasure of working with Kaisercraft on this collaboration and it is so exciting to see it become real! Three years in the making (and begging!) and they made it look even better than it was in my dreams! I just can’t get enough of this timeless collection and know I’ll be stockpiling it for many future projects–it’s too pretty to cut!
Teal is my favourite colour and I love all the different shades that are included in this line–they help to give added dimension to the papers. And of course they match perfect with all things silver–foil and glitter papers look great with these!
I was super excited to see a brand NEW Snowflake die–a girl can never have too many of those in her stash! What I loved about this one is that you get TWO dies and they are the absolute perfect size for cardmaking. Plus they were designed to layer which is right up my alley–a pop dot in between makes the layers really stand out. I used the Platinum Glitter cardstock for my card mats but I did cut the snowflakes out of the new foil papers, which are a thinner weight and perfect for those intricate dies.
Here I used another snowflake from the new die set but this time I layered it with one of the elements from the Collectibles pack! There are so many fantastic pieces in there and these really dress up a snowflake.
I used the 6.5″ Paper pad for all the patterns on my cards. The designs are a little smaller and work perfect for cardmakers. But I could not resist using the 12×12 cut apart–this is a carmakers dream!! I was in heaven with the huge assortment of festive words and quotes and the best part was the silver accents–they make everything sparkle!
I always love little elements that add layers without bulk–these little tabs in the back of the paper pads are great for doing just that.
I just can’t get enough of all the fabulous patterns that are in this line–snowflakes, diagonals and the always popular woodgrains. I used several of the collectibles on this card as accent pieces to frame my greeting in the center.
I like to use foam tape between my layers to create shadowing and depth–the same goes for adding the collectibles. These are usually cards that I hand delivery for those special people, but if I need to mail them, then I will (reluctantly) remove some of the foam tape.
I loved the Island Lagoon rhinestones–they were the perfect match of teal and really added a beautiful touch–doesn’t every card deserve some bling??
Once again I turned to the 12×12 cutapart for my greeting. This one I really trimmed down to make it fit my card. Each layer is matted with silver foil really accentuating the different patterns and colour hues. I also added a perforated greeting to the top of the card–these are in the back of your paper pad and are a great size for card greetings.
I sure hope you love Let it Snow as much as I do!! I’m so VERY grateful for all the hard work they put into this collection to bring my vision to life and I can’t wait to play and create even more over the next few weeks! It truly IS the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!
