Lily & Moss Tiles – Group Post

Hello – this group post is all about “Tiles” so today the Design Team will show you a few ways to use the P2883 Pink Plaster paper & P2884 Tiles paper in their projects.

Chrissy Tingey

Papers: Lily & Moss Collection: P2883 Pink Plaster|P2885 Ombre|P2886 Flicker|P2887 Flora

Kaisercraft Products: SK823 Sticker Book|CT977 Collectables|SB701 Soft Pink Rhinestones|DD3352 Lily Decorative Die

The Pink Plaster paper with all those pretty tiles on it is so versatile, I decided to use it as my background and cut out the ones I wanted to use. I have also stitched in between the tiles and have added some bling to them – You can cut out specific tiles to suit your project, they would also look great as a centre section on a card.

I had lots of fun playing with the tiles in this collection. I have made a frame with the mosaic tiles from TILES, and with the decorative tiles from PINK PLASTER, that I have arranged in a grid.

Sometimes a pattern is too big, dont be afraid to cut it down into strips of varying sizes to add to your background. I have done a process video so you can follow along HERE, and if you want the downloadable PDF you can download HERE

Kaisercraft Products: CT977 Collectables | white Cardstock

I decided to use Tiles as my background paper and cut up Pink Plaster and used specific tiles to layer behind my photo. The heart shape was hand drawn on some white card stock as I just wanted some plain white highlight to soften the ‘busy’ background paper. I then layered several Collectables die cuts and arranged them around my photo using foam dots for dimension.

I hope we have inspired you to use these beautiful papers from the Lily and Moss collection, which you can find on the Kaisercraft website here

, IP747 Denim Ink

Hello! It’s Lisa here and I have created layout using the lace stamp from the Clear Stamp set, to stamp with Denim ink, a border at the top and bottom of my base page.
I have also used the stamps to stamp out some butterflies,
that I have fussy cut and adhered to my layout.

I am in love with this romantic floral collection and the stamp set is just the icing on the cake, as you are able to use it on layouts, cards and many other projects.

Kaisercraft Products: Lady Like Collection: PP1080 Paper Pad | CD302 Coal |CS374 Clear Stamps | DD369 Oval Vintage Frame Decorative Die | CD510 Card Pack C6 Black

Other: Versamark Ink | Gold Embossing Powder | Zig Markers |Waterbrush Pen

For my card, I heat embossed the stamp using gold embossing powder and used my zig markers to colour the images in. I also used the border stamp on the side to add extra texture to the background. I masked part of the sentiment quote stamp and heat embossed it as well.

Chrissy Here

The Lady Like collection is just beautiful and I love the coordinating stamp set, especially the elegant butterfly and beautiful lace borders that are part of the set.

Products Used: CS374 Lady Like Stamp Set|P2877 Elsie Paper|P2874 Rose Paper|SB794 Snow Pearls|CS372 Paint Splatter Stamp|CD301 Snow Kaisercard|IP719 Black Ink Pad

I fussy cut the flowers & leaves from the Rose paper and stamped and fussy cut the butterflies and lace borders. I made my card blanks from Snow Kaisercard. I used the fabulous paint splatter background stamp on my card blanks, then arranged all my fussy cut elements onto them. For added interest and a bit of luxury I lined my envelope using the Elsie paper.

I hope I have inspired you to use the beautiful coordinating stamp sets.

I wanted to just add some finer details with the lace and floral stamps to my background nothing to overshadow the amazing details in the papers.

The Greatest of Gifts

Hello, Kaisercraft fans!
It’s Lisa here today to share some Under the Gum Leaves inspiration!
When I received this collection I loved the gorgeous florals but I really wanted to create a layout not using a Christmas theme, this collection worked beautifully.

I have started by using Wild Flora as my base page. I have then cut, torn and distressed some of the other patterned papers to layer in the centre of my page.

I have then used pieces of the Burlap Stack to tuck into my paper layers,
with some floral elements.

I have then matted my photos on paper from the Paper Pad
and adhered them to my layout.

I have then built up some floral clusters for the corners of my photos,
using fussy cut elements and some of the Collectables.

I have then added a title and a Curio to my layout.

I have layered my matted title strip with a Collectable heart.

I hope that you like what I have created and that it inspires you to play today.
You can find the full instructions for this layout HERE.

Is there a themed collection that you like to use for something other than what is expected?
I would love to see if you have, please share in our Facebook Group – Kaisercaft Corner.
You may be featured in our next collection look book.

Until next time!

My Crafty Haven

Hello all! It’s Lisa here today to share some crafty goodness with you all.
I have been working with the Crafternoon Collection and I wanted to scrapbook a layout about my art room, my Crafty Haven. This collection was perfect for my layout.

I have made a double layout, with multiple photos. Something different for me.
I have started with two sheets of the Crafty paper.

I have then cut 1″ strips of the patterned papers and cut these into pieces with 45-degree angle ends. I have then arranged these pieces into chevron strips across my pages.
I have then zig zag stitched up and down each line.

Next I have fussy cut florals, doilies and measuring tape strips to use on my layout. I have layered these over my chevron strips.

I have done this across both pages. I have then matted my photos and adhered them to my page.

I have used cardboard to raise them from my page.

I have then added some florals next to my photos.

For my title I have used stickers from the sticker Book, matted onto card stock, and trimmed to size.
I have cut it in half and adhered it across my two pages.

I have used some of the embroidery hoops from the collection for sentiments.
I have layered these onto doily collectables.

The colours of my art room match the collection! hahaha perfect!

I am loving the pop of colours on the yellow background papers!

I hope that you like what I have created, it was fun to do something I wouldn’t normally do. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

You can find the full instructions for this layout HERE.
Until next time!

Something for the Boys!

Hello all! It’s Lisa here today to share my latest creation with you.
This month we have some gorgeous collections for you,
including the Workshop collection, perfect for the boys in your life.

PAPERS: WORKSHOP Collection: P2793 Tough, P2794 Dashing, P2798 Courageous
KC PRODUCTS: CT967 Collectables, SK813 Sticker Book, CR213 Curios, IT494 Linear Lines Template, CS364 Clear Stamp Set, DD3316 Texture Subway Decorative Die, CD606 Navy Cardstock, Ink Pads IP747 Denim, IP757 Black, IP744 Blue Haze
OTHER: Cardboard, Modelling Paste.

I have fallen in love!
With the Template, the Clear Stamps, the colours and elements,
well just all of it!

I do love a bit of grunge!!
This collection has it all. I have started with Dashing (reverse) as my base page.
I have then used the Linear Lines Template and modelling paste,
to make this background my own.

I have then started stamping with a few different inks,
and then I started to build up my page, using rulers and cogs.

I have also used the Subway Texture Decorative Die. I have die-cut these from both navy and white card stock. I have added these into my layers as I build them up.

As I am building I adhere more of the rulers,
more of the subway die-cuts and cogs.

I have used both foam tape and cardboard to add dimension to my layout.

I have then added some of the word stickers from the Sticker Book, sentiment tag from the Collectables and a Curio to finish.

I quite like how this one turned out. Perfect for my boys and their shenanigans 🙂

Until next time!

Sparkle – Let It Snow

Hi Everyone, Chrissy here with my first official post for Kaisercraft, I just want to say again, thank you so very much for this amazing opportunity Melissa Kennedy.

For this post I am using the gorgeous “Let It Snow” Kaisercraft collection. The colours in this range are just beautiful and who doesn’t love a bit of foiling. My photo is of my daughter Merley, she loved dressing up at Christmas time in her fairy outfits.

Products used: P2803 Delightful|P2805 Snowfall|P2806 Pine Forest|P2809 O’Christmas Tree|P2810 Wonderful|CT968 Collectables|CR214 Curios|KM127 Turquoise Kaisermist|SB775 Aqua Marine Rhinestones

Other products used: DMC Thread|Tiny Star die-cuts

I started by layering up all the papers I wanted to use for my base, cut them to size then added some stitching around the edges using colour coordinating thread. I cut out a circle from the centre and tucked my photo in there just to make sure it looked ok. On reflection I decided to use a larger photo that filled the entire circle.

Now the fun bit……fussy cutting all the embellishments, I fussy cut all the beautiful foiled flourishes from the Wonderland paper, I love that when they are fussy cut they curl up and give that extra dimension on your project.

Once all the embellishments have been fussy cut, I like to arrange them around my layout without sticking them down.

I also used some of the collectables, these are just brilliant to tuck in and around your layout or project, some are just shapes others having lovely sayings on them. I have also added one of the pretty Curios to my project.

To finish off my layout I have added some rhinestones and tiny star die-cuts. This is such a beautiful collection, I have enjoyed working with and hope you do to, I look forward to seeing your creations.

Happy Crafting,

Fussy Cutting for Dimension

Hello Kaisercraft fans,
it’s Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you using the oh so fabulous
Antiquities Collection.

PAPERS: ANTIQUITIES Collection: P2741 Limited Edition, P2742 Heirloom, P2743 Antique, P2747 Beloved.
KC PRODUCTS: CT960 Collectables, SK807 Sticker Book, CS352 Clear Stamps, CS359 Grunged Paint Texture Stamp, IP747 Denim, IP744 Blue Haze, KM122 Yellow, KM129 Navy

The first thing that jumped out to me when I received this collection was the gorgeous print of the HEIRLOOM (reverse) paper. It was screaming to be fussy cut out.

But first I needed to get a little messy 🙂
I have used the Grunged Paint Texture Stamp and the number stamp from the Clear Stamps,
and Denim & Blue Haze inks, to stamp an X pattern on my base page.

I have then used my Yellow & Navy Kaiser Mists to splatter in the same pattern.
I have then fussy cut the HEIRLOOM (reverse) paper, into individual diamonds.
I have scored and folded up the edges of each one.
I have then arranged them in a diamond pattern that is split across my page.

I have then started to build up my layout, using collectables, stamped images and stickers.

I have then added my photo base to the right side of the page.

I have then added some elements to the left side to balance it out.

I have then added my photo and a couple of sentiments, and voila, done!

I love the dimension that was added by folding up the edges.

I am really happy with how this layout turned out and LOVED working with the
Antiquities Collection.
You can find the full instructions for this layout
HERE.

Until next time!
