Happiness Blooms

Hello everyone. I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing with a layout which features the gorgeous papers and products from the Amethyst Collection .

Kaisercraft Products: AMETHYST Collection – P2914 Moonstone |P217 Full Moon |P2916 Crystal |CD301 Snow Cardstock | CT980 Amethyst Collectables |CS3801 Amethyst Clear Stamps |DD705 Swirl Decorative Die |F643 Amethyst Paper Bloom

OTHER: Versamark Ink |White Embossing Powde | Doily |Bling Stickers

I was inspired by the pretty florals in this collection. I also wanted to have distressed/vintage look to my overall layout. I loved this photo! Sometimes you don’t have to have people in your images in order to create, the flowers in the basket were perfect for the look I was going for.

To create the distressed/vintage look, I distressed the edges of my papers as well as randomly ripped papers to adhere to my background. I added a doily plus I layered my blooms.

Stay safe and well.

Happy Birthday

I hope that you are safe and well. Today I am sharing a card with you that features stamps and products from the Lily and Moss Collection by Kaisercraft. I was really inspired by the stamp set and decided that I would use this as my main focus for my card.

Kaisercraft Products: Lily and Moss Collection – PP1083 Paper Pad |CD101 Coconut Cardstock | CS377 Lily and Moss Clear Stamp |CT977 Lily and Moss Collectables |Decorative Dies: DD508 Nesting Ovals |DD794 Ornate Pack 2 |CD511 Card Pack C6 White |F641 Dusty Pink Paper Blooms |SB701 Soft Pink Rhinestones

OTHER: Copic Markers |X-Press It Blending Card |Stamens |Hemp |Memento Tuxedo Black Ink |White Gel Pen

I used my copic markers to colour one of the stamps that are part of the stamp set. Once I had finished colouring the image in, I used a white gel pen to add some details to the largest blooms.

To add a vintage feel to my card, I added some die cut details around my stamped image. I used the corner die from the ornate pack 2 plus some rhinestones.

If you don’t own copic markers, this image would like beautiful watercoloured using watercolour markers. It doesn’t take a long time to colour in, but the results are very pleasing!

If you would like to purchase any of the Lily and Moss Collection, visit your local stockist or go online to the Kaisercraft store.

Do What You Love

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing a layout that I have created using the fun floral collection called Crafternoon. It’s a collection that connects to crafters and creaters who love to make things. We get so busy in our everyday activities, that sometimes we need to find time for ourselves, to do the things we we love.

Kaisercraft Products: CRAFTERNOON Collection: P2840 Crochet |P2816 Minty |P2843 Measured |P2841 Backstitch |CT972 Crafternoon Collectables |Decorative Dies: DD484 DIY Flora Pansy |DD811 3D layered Peony |Art Foam: SF920 Sage |SF905 Apricot |SF902 Ivory |IP737 Ink Pad Burnt Orange| SB794 Pearls Snow

OTHER: Paper Doilies

I took the opportunity to create some artfoam flowers to compliment the background paper of my layout. I used two sizes of flowers to add interest. I used a coordinating Kaisercraft ink pad to ink the centre of my smaller flower to connect my flowers.

I used the doilies and measuring tapes to connect sewing to my layout. Not only is it a pretty addition to a ‘girly’ layout, but it is one of the crafts that I do enjoy doing when I have some spare time. It was the predominant craft that I did before papercraft became my main craft.

This sentiment from the collectables just sums everything up….just do what you love. Create something for you! Find the time and and create even it’s for five minutes.

Starry Night Center Piece

With Christmas just around the corner ( I know but it really isnt that far away) it gets you thinking of the decoration process for me its all about spending time with those special and dearest to us and I love setting the Christmas decorations out to make it a little bit more special…..

So why dont you give it a try I promise it is easy to make maybe a little fiddly in parts but it is worth it. I have even made a video tutorial so you can follow along while you create your own flower center piece.
