Flashback Friday – Greenhouse

In March we released the collection Greenhouse collection which featured all those beautiful succulents that you can fussy cut and layer.

As it’s Friday and almost the start of our weekends (for many of us), we thought that you may want a little more inspiration on how you use up some of those new collections you have purchased and stashed away.

Each Friday, myself or one of our design team will trawl back through the archives of our Facebook Group – “Kaisercraft Corner” and see what takes our eye from past collections and share with you.
So peeps, if you would love your creations shared here on our blog, make sure anything you create using our new collections is shared to this page so we can all see it – and next time you may see your work featured here in one of our “Flashbacks”. Even if you don’t get featured – the group is a great community to share in your love of the Kaisercraft brand and be inspired.

I hope you enjoy the gorgeous eye candy below as much as we have.

The following double layouts are ones that Michelle Van Wyk has created. She has a kit club in South Africa that she runs with her friend Jenny – The Scissor Sisters

What i love about the above layout is that the section on the right opens up to reveal more space for another one or two photographs.

How sweet is this next layout that was created by Chrissy Tingey of Merely Impressions.
I just love how all those succulents seem to be jumping off the page at me and all that stitching – just the patience involved in doing this is mind boggling – to me anyways.
– Gorgeous –

The Greenhouse Collection has been so popular that many of the single sheets and paper packs have sold out from our warehouse but you still may be able to get your hands on some from your local Scrapbook or Retail store – however if you can’t seem to find any, we still have available all of those beautiful designs in an awesome 12″ paper pad.
Head over to our online store for more details.

Layers and Layers of Succulents

Hey Guys.. Kasia here with a layout featuring the Greenhouse Collection.
This collection really truly makes my heart sing, not only is it full of beautifully soft watercolour images but they are of succulents… eeek!
I loved every single succulent image I literally wanted to use them all.

I may have spent a few nights fussy cutting the little guys till my fingers went numb.

I am completely in love with them.

There are so many stickers and they are brilliant for adding layers into your layouts,

Emboss It !!!!

Good Morning, theres nothing prettier than an Embossing Folder but if you are anything like me I either forget to use them, or I cant find the right way to use them in my layouts and cards. So today hopefully there is some inspiration on how to use the stunning new Embossing Folders from the NEW GREENHOUSE COLLECTION – IN STORE NOW!!!!

Embossing Folder – Succulents
EF303

Embossing Folder – Cobblestone
EF299

KAISERCRAFT PAPERS: GREENHOUSE Collection: P2712 Succulents, P2715 Yucca, P2717 Rosette, P2718 Jade Plant, P2719 Terrariums, P2720 Conservatory
KC PRODUCTS: EF303 Succulents Embossing Folder, EF299 Cobblestone Embossing Folder, CD301 Snow Cardstock T303 Foam Tape, T321 Glue, T331 Sanding Block

So with the double layout the top strip with photos has use the Embossing Folders all you have to do is rip the paper to the width of the Embossing Folder and then move it along till you have finished the paper – it only takes 3 moves……

*TIP: If you want the Embossed paper to stand out more – then give it a light sand with a sanding block it will make the white core of the paper stand out more…

To see how this double layout was created you can download a Step by Step PDF Tutorial HERE!!!!

Next just a couple of quick cards …. arent they best kind?

KAISERCRAFT PAPERS: GREENHOUSE Collection: P2712 Succulents, P2717 Rossette, P2719 Terrariums.

KC PRODUCTS: EF303 Succulents Embossing Folder, EF299 Cobblestone Embossing Folder, T303 Foam Tape, T321 Glue, T331 Sanding Block, CD501 Card Pk – white

So the first card I have used the reverse embossed- this allows the alcohol ink to catch in all the wells on the card……..

For the second card I have used a sanding block to show all the hidden details from the embossing folder …….

To get the instructions and list on what was used on these cards you can download the PDF from HERE!!!!!

Till next time have a creative day
