Flowering natives Double page layout with a fun lettering trick

Hi everyone, welcome to another post on the blog today. I am using the gorgeous new release from this month “Flowering Natives” for a double page layout. I think it’s specially close to my heart because of the Proteas – one of my favourite flowers. And I simply adore this paper range with it on.

Kaisercraft Collection: Flowering Natives – PK625 | Flowering Natives Paper Pack | Sticker Sheet | PP1094 | Paper Pad | CT995 | Collectables
Other: White cardstock

I am also showing you this neat trick I have of working around a product that I love but don’;t like using – LETTERING STICKERS! I love them, I see the value of them I just don’t like using them. So instead of not using them, I use them in creative ways. And for this layout I simply cut the lettering portion and used it as a patterned paper piece.

I am not always fond of using lettering stickers – I love them – I just don’t love using them as individuals for creating titles and words on projects. I think I have issues when they are not perfectly straight – so I just avoid using them altogether.

If you think the letters may pop off after years of being in an album, them paint a thin layer of gel medium over the letters to seal them in permanently – it will dry clear and matt and seal them in – for those just in case moments.

I used the collectibles to add some dimension by layering the elements using foam tape.

Barcode strips, sticker strips with some sewing details layered on top of the alphabet sticker piece.

A fun way of using all those beautiful tags is grouping them for repetition on a project. I also use this trick when I only have a few elements left-over from my pack. Those little elements that seem to be forgotten – so I use them in numbers for effect. A few stitches and some diamante add more interest.

A great collection for all those fun traveling photos to see the Proteas, outdoor events like weddings and family gatherings or for those everyday special occasions – because at the end of the day its those little moments that make life big. Until next time – blessings Jowilna! x

Lilac Mist 10 minute cards

Hi everyone, welcome to today’s blog post where I am sharing 2 quick cards. For me card making has to be quick. And although I appreciate those gorgeous fancy cards I ice when I think they will just be trashed one day – so for me personally quick and easy does the trick.

Kaisercraft: Lilac Mist Collection : PP1093 Paper Pad | CT994 Collectables
Other: Ink | Pearls- Snow | Card Pack – White |
For my first card I used 3 patterned papers from my 6×6 paper pad. I always like cutting these smaller papers to make multiple cards – it works so well.
Then added some die-cut elements from my Collectibles packet. I used the thin foam tape to raise some of the elements tucking things underneath the large square element. By simply adding foam tape to the center of the element I can easily tuck things under it.
My second card uses the remainder of the patterned paper pieces that I cut. It is really easy creating colour blocked cards using limited supplies – so there is really never an excuse for not being able to be creative.
Here I grouped my die-cut elements towards the bottom of the card where the larger pieces of patterned papers are split by the thin lilac strip. I finished off my cards using some pearls in various sizes and some ink splats.

Si in ten minutes or less I created these gorgeous cards using this amazing new range. And what better way to spoil someone with a handmade card, even if it may find its way to the landfill one day – for today it brings me joy creating a beautiful card and going through the creative process. Until next time – happy creating Jowilna xx

Home sweet Home Flower shoppe layout

Today on the blog I am sharing this single page created using the gorgeous Flower Shoppe range. I used a cut file, cut with my Cricut Maker and filled in with the patterned paper, creating a gorgeous backdrop for my photo.

Flower Shoppe Collection: P2943 | Full Bloom; P2942 | Glass House; P2937 | Weather Board; P2938 | Afternoon; P2939 | Sunroom; P2940 | Conservatory; P2941 | Garden Path; Collectables
Sentiments; CT983 | Collectables;
Cut out flowers and embellishments create some beautiful and soft details on top of the background.
I added some hand sewing on top of the white border, after backing the inside with my patterned paper sheets.
Using some sentiment strips from the Collectibles packet to add my words.
I love the simplicity of this layout and how it came together with the little details. Sometimes its the little things that make a big impact, and in this case my cut file is the perfct supporting element to this gorgeous paper – plus I get to use as much of the patterns by using them in smaller pieces.
I hope you are inspired to try something new using this amazing range. Until next time, stay safe Jowilna

Native Noel Card Set

Kaisercraft Collection: Native Noel | Natives | Green Polka | Gingham | Sticker Sheet | Collectables | Kaiser Mist Gold | Foam Tape | Rhinestones
Other: Sewing machine | ribbon
Welcome to today’s blo0g post using another fabulous Christmas range. With its gorgeous shades of reds and greens and a hint of kraft this range is going to be a firm favorite for me. I made 3 cards using my patterned papers as the background trimmed to fit onto my card base.
On top of the patterned paper I added either a tag or a cut out card from the Green Polka sheet {reverse}. Some machine sewing details around the edges gives a nice contrast and texture.
From my collectibles packet I added a circle element and finished it off with some Gold Kaiser Mist splats and rhinestones.
This must be one of my favorite cards – simply because it has this gorgeous Protea on it. I added some cut out leaves and the cut out Protea from the Natives patterned paper.
For my third card I used another cut out panel and added a circle from the sticker sheet and some cut out leaves and berries as a finishing touch.
Notice how the gold Kaiser Mist splats just pull everything together and adds some shimmer without being overwhleming.
And don’t forgot those little details in the form of rhinestones or other embellishments. I hope you are inspired by these card to start making your Festive Season cards for this year. I can’t wait to make some more cards using the other amazing elements in this kit – be sure to check out yours from your local store and get it in time for some Christmas Crafting. Until next time Jowilna xxx

Fallen leaves Embossed details

Fallen Leaves Collection: P2919 Crunchy Leaves | P2920 Crisp Air | PP1087 Paper Pad | CT981 Collectables | CS381 Clear Stamps | KM130 Brown Kaiser Mist | CD301 Snow Card stock | Foamtape
Other: Buttons | Gold embossing Powder | Versamark ink pad | Diamante

Today on the blog I am sharing a single page using the gorgeous new Fallen Leaves Collection. The moment I saw those big leaves and the stamp set I knew what I wanted to do – those winter leaves were begging for some texture, so come along and see how I created them.

I Used my stamp set and repeatedly stamped over my cut out leaves using Versamark ink pad, then sprinkled with gold embossing powder and heat set the powder until fully melted. The gold embossing gives the plain leaves some beautiful interest.
Using different stamps with the same embossing gives the leaves some different texture and looks amazing next to the mustard yellow shades.
A mixture of collectibles and cut out elements from the paper pad makes for an interesting assortment of clustered details.
More stamping, ink splats and some stenciled details add interest to the background.
I finished off my layout by adding some buttons and diamante. I hope you enjoyed this journey and how easy it is to transform your patterned paper and give loads of interest to elements using stamps and embossing. Until next time – have fun with this amazing collection Jowilna x

Heaven Sent single page layout

Welcome to another inspiration blog post using the gorgeous new collection. Have you been busy creating up a storm while being at home? I sure have and really loved working with this range. Its stunning and not just for babies if that is what you are thinking. Although I was inspired to do a baby layout which is not like me at all.

Little Treasures Co9llection: P2932 Cuddles | PP1088 Paper Pad | CT982 | Collectables | Collectables Sentiments | CS382 Clear Stamp | SB718 Bliss Pearls | SB786 | Rose Pearl | IP736 Blush Ink Pad – Water Based |

I Created my background by using my Blush ink pad and adding some colour to white cardstock using the direct to paper technique. I did make sure that I had colour peeking out behind my photo by checking the positioning every now and again.
Matted my photo onto some of the blue paper from the Paper Pad and then started cutting some elements.
I think my favorite part of this range must the flowers – I love all the other elements too but those flowers are simply stunning. I created base layers with the flowers and then used foam tape to raise the elements on top for dimension.
My large balloon is dressed up using a banner from the Collectables packet, a cut out star and then some matching pearls.
Lastly I used some grey ink and stamp the sentiment from the clear stamp set repeatedly overlapping each other.
I finished off my page with some gold and brown ink splatters and diamante. I hope you are inspired to use this range not only for babies but for so many other things too. Watch this space to see what the design team comes up with using this stunning collection. Until next time happy creating Jowilna.

Amethyst at an angle single page

Kaisercraft Products: AMETHYST Collection – P2916 Crystal | P2917 Full Moon | CD301 Snow Cardstock | CT980 Amethyst Collectables | CT986 | Collectables Sentiments
Today on the blog I am sharing single page layout with an angle. I love using my white cardstock backgrounds, but with this range and its many beautiful page designs I just couldn’t help myself but wanting to use a little bit more paper. So I cut the beautiful Crystal page in half diagonally and used it as part of my layout.
A combination of cut out leaves from the Full Moon sheet and my Collectibles make up the bulk of my clusters.
Have you seen the new Sentiments Collectibles – what an amazing and wonderful addition to the family – filled to the brim with sentiments and words, you can now enjoy double the fun of these. So useful and perfect for cards and on any of your projects.
Layer elements using foam tape so that they can peek over your photo and finish them off with some rhinestones in the same shades as found in your paper. It really is in the details.
More little Collectible treasures found in the packet include this gorgeous heart and little leaf – perfect for those layers and clusters.

And can I just say that I am not a purple lover – but this range is more navy than purple and with its amazing designs this range totally stole my heart! Perfect and gorgeous in every way. You are sure to fall in love with it too. Until next time – we hope you love it as much as we do – happy crafting!

Tropical Vibes Single Page

KAISERCRAFT PRODUCTS USED: SUNKISSED Collection:
P2907 Pineapple Sour, P2908 Tutti Frutti, CT979 Collectables, Kaisermists Gold, T302 Foam Dots, LDB1056 Foam Tape, T321 Acid-free craft glue

Hi everyone, welcome to today’s blog post with me Jowilna. With our summer slowly waving goodbye there is nothing better than dreaming of a long tropical holiday on a gorgeous island. And if that’s not on the cards at least we can escape with this beautiful Sun kissed range of papers.

I was inspired by this beautiful photo my cousin took while visiting the beautiful resort on Bhutan. It matched the paper perfectly and i simply couldn’t resist. I started off by cutting elements from the Tutti Frutti paper. I matted my photo and then finding the placement layered the cut outs under the photo matt before adhering most of the elements using foam tape.
Some elements peek out from under the photo and others are layered on top to add interest and dimension.
The beautiful elements from the Collectibles packet help to add interest. I used the sentiment from the Collectibles packet down the side of my layout as a title.
I added some gold splats using my Kaisermists, then added some red and gold rhinestones in various sizes to finish off my layout.
What will you create with this stunning range of papers and elements?
And did you see the second packet of Sentiment Collectibles – Love them so much for cards and Pocket pages – a total game changer!

Lily & Moss simple single page

Hi everyone, today on the blog I am sharing another Lily & Moss layout this time using a patterned paper as background with some of my left-over elements. It’s always amazing how far you can stretch your collections with a bit of imagination – real crafting value!

Kaisercraft products: Lily & Moss Collection |P2891 | Circular
P2885 Ombre | CT977- collectables | SK826 Sticker Book
KM132 | Gold Shimmer Kaiser Mist | Pearls
I used the Ombre {reverse} patterned paper as my background. I don’t often work on anything but white but this sheet of paper was begging to be used.
I used my left-over elements from the Collectibles packet as well as some stickers.
I cut a strip of the blocks from the Circular patterned paper {reverse}. Adhere the strip of blocks to the left of your matted photo. Then add a quote block peeking out from behind the photo. The rest of the layout consists of arranging flowers and leaves around the photo.
Finishing off my layout using pearls, diamante and some gold Kaisermist splatters. The gold splatters look amazing against the dark green background – adding life and interest.

I hope you are inspired to use the rest of the elements left- over from your beautiful collection. It really goes to show that you don’t need a lot of supplies to be able to create a beautiful project. Until next time Jowilna xxx

Grand Bazaar Doors – Group Post

Today the Design Team have used the P2870 ‘Doorway’ paper, in full or in part, on their works.
They have some gorgeous projects showcasing the many ways to use this page.

I Love this exotic collection the colours are absolutely gorgeous, I particularly love the combination of the mustard and green colours against the woodgrain paper – so picked out the colour coordinating doors from the Doorway paper to create my layout.
