SPARKLE – Let it Shine Collection

Hello and Welcome,
It’s Annette here, delighted to be sharing my first project as a member of the Kaisercraft Design Team. This collection is so pretty, the shades of turquoise with shiny silver and white, just perfect non-traditional Christmas pages or snow holidays. I chose to create a LO of my daughter, who always leaves a little sparkle wherever she goes.

PAPER: LET IT SNOW Collection: P2808 All is Calm, P2806 Pine Forest, plus reverse & quote strip, P2803 Delightful, P2804 Twinkle Star
KC PRODUCTS: Cardstock: 2 x Slate,1 x White. Die cut, F632Flowers, SK814Sticker Book, Rhinestones- Clear, KM127Kaiser Mist, Flourish pack – Shine small wooden snowflakes,
OTHER: Silver Glitter, Lace and larger wooden snowflakes.

I love to frame my pages, so using the deep SLATE grey as my base and then WHITE cardstock, I felt it highlighted the completed page perfectly. Distressing and shabbying ?? (is that really a word) is another feature of my scrapbooking ‘style’.

I also triple matted my photos as they are the main focal point. Don’t we scrapbook is to tell a story however simple about our photos?
I also misted, added rhinestones and glitter to complement the title ‘SPARKLE’.

There are many layers of prettiness with lace and clusters, I hope you like what I have created. if you wish to create your version of my Layout the instructions can be found HERE.

Bye for now, Happy Scrapping, Annette x

BOYS will be BOYS- layout by Annette Gearside

Hello all and welcome .. it’s fantastic to see you here, This is Annette sharing my first blog post as a design team member and what better way than with this super masculine range ‘ WORKSHOP’. Love the grungy look of this collection, with blue/grey with a touch of rust, so awesome for the boys& men in your life.

BOYS will be BOYS

PRODUCTS USED: PAPERS: WORKSHOP Collection: P2798-Courageous, P2801Chivalrous, P2797-Gallant

KC PRODUCTS: Cardstock ‘Anchor’ Inks IP751-Chocolate, IP747Denim, Wooden Cogs, CS364-Stamp, CT967-Collectables, SK813-Sticker book, IT494-Stencil

I really like to frame my Layouts so I used cardstock , then my chosen patterned papers, distressing all edges to add to the grungy look, then applying thick heavy gesso through a stencil then stamping for dimension.

I double matted two of my photos and the centre feature photo was framed to highlight. you may also notice my photos are not perfect, a little blurry , they still however tell a story & preserve memories.

I inked & glazed the wooden cogs, plus used bits from the collectables & fussy cut some cogs from the patterned paper , these have been added with various thicknesses of foam tape.

I framed my feature photo with the ruler print, I felt this pic truly portrayed my grandson who absolutely groans when I ask for a posed pic, truly I could create an album of poked tongues & screwed up facial expressions. I have started to use them because it him to a ‘T’ the joker.

I thoroughly enjoyed creating with this ‘WORKSHOP range of papers and I know you will also, if you wish to create a similar LO my instructions for this layout are HERE.

Bye for now, till next time,

Happy Scrapping, Annette

Paisley Days Clear Stamp Card Tutorial

Hi Guys, Kasia here with some fun cards created with the Paisley Days clear stamp and the 6.5″ Paisley Days paper pad.

This stamp was super fun to play with and I love the bold lines in these modern florals. I played on the boldness of the stamp and on the pops of black in the Paisley Days collection to create these cards.

You can find the CS351 Paisley Days clear stamp at your local store or online HERE.

Products Used:
PAISLEY DAYS Collection: PP1066 Paper Pad, CS351 Clear Stamp.

KC PRODUCTS:
CD501 White Card Pack, CD601 White Cardstock, SB793 Black Pearls, IP757 Permanent Black Ink, KM121 White KAISERmist.

This fun, mostly monochromatic, card can be created in not just black and white, but you could also stamp the images in your favourite colour and use a coordinating patterned paper or cardstock to matt the stamped area.

I love when a stamp set has a selection of little images that can be stamped multiple times to create a wreath.

A quick tip to create a nice balanced wreath is to use a stamping tool. Cut your paper into a square shape, position your stamp on your stamping tool lid and rotate the paper after stamping the image. Keep going around until you have stamped 4 times and then move your image and repeat the process.

You can download the instructions to create these cards HERE.

See you next time & happy crafting.
xx Kasia
