Adventures with Grand Bazaar

Hello Kaisercraft fans! It’s Lisa here today to share some scrappy goodness with you!
I have been busy playing with the gorgeous ‘Grand Bazaar’ collection.
This is what I have created

PRODUCTS USED:
PAPERS: GRAND BAZAAR Collection: P2865 Collective, P2867 Ceramic Tiles, P2868 Boho Paisley, P2870 Doorway, P2872 Free Spirited, P2873 Carefree,
PP1081 Paper Pad
KC PRODUCTS: CT975 Collectables, SK821 Sticker Book, CD301 Snow Card Stock, Kaiser Mists – KM123 Rose Gold, KM129 Navy

For this layout I have started with a white card stock background.
I have used my Kaiser Mists for a bit of splattering in Rose Gold & Navy.

I have done a bit of fussy cutting for this layout, using the florals in the papers, and the Paper Pad, along with cutting apart elements from the papers.

I have started to build up my layers using some fussy cut pieces and collectable and die-cut elements.

I have then added some of the patterned papers and more elements to my layers.

I have layered some of the fussy cut florals with gold foiled fussy cut florals from the Paper Pad.

I have then added my photo and more of the fussy cut elements.

I have tucked these into my layers, and used foam tape for some of them, for dimension.

I have also built up a layered corner cluster of elements for my page.

I hope that you like what I have created.
You can find the full instructions for this layout HERE.

Until next time!

SPARKLE – Let it Shine Collection

Hello and Welcome,
It’s Annette here, delighted to be sharing my first project as a member of the Kaisercraft Design Team. This collection is so pretty, the shades of turquoise with shiny silver and white, just perfect non-traditional Christmas pages or snow holidays. I chose to create a LO of my daughter, who always leaves a little sparkle wherever she goes.

PAPER: LET IT SNOW Collection: P2808 All is Calm, P2806 Pine Forest, plus reverse & quote strip, P2803 Delightful, P2804 Twinkle Star
KC PRODUCTS: Cardstock: 2 x Slate,1 x White. Die cut, F632Flowers, SK814Sticker Book, Rhinestones- Clear, KM127Kaiser Mist, Flourish pack – Shine small wooden snowflakes,
OTHER: Silver Glitter, Lace and larger wooden snowflakes.

I love to frame my pages, so using the deep SLATE grey as my base and then WHITE cardstock, I felt it highlighted the completed page perfectly. Distressing and shabbying ?? (is that really a word) is another feature of my scrapbooking ‘style’.

I also triple matted my photos as they are the main focal point. Don’t we scrapbook is to tell a story however simple about our photos?
I also misted, added rhinestones and glitter to complement the title ‘SPARKLE’.

There are many layers of prettiness with lace and clusters, I hope you like what I have created. if you wish to create your version of my Layout the instructions can be found HERE.

Bye for now, Happy Scrapping, Annette x

Tech Tuesday – Layering Elements

Hello all! It’s Lisa here today to share some inspiration and a technique with you.
I have been working with the Let It Snow Collection and this is what I have created

PAPERS: LET IT SNOW Collection: P2804 Twinkle Star, P2806 Pine Forest, P2807 Shimmering
KC PRODUCTS: CS365 Clear Stamp Set, SK814 Sticker Book, CT968 Collectables, CR214 Curios, IT495 Scattered Stars Template, Kaiser Mist KM127 Turquoise,
Ink Pads IP746 Peacock, IP752 Smoke, IP745 Seabreeze.
OTHER:Modelling Paste, gauze.

For this layout, I wanted to use the Clear Stamp Set to add extra trees and snowflakes, stamped in Seabreeze Ink, layering with the Collectables to create a forest around my photo.

I have started by building up my background, I have used the Scattered Stars Template to stencil first with Ink and then with modelling paste.
I have also stamped some snowflakes and splashed some Kaiser Mist in Turquoise.

I have started to add in some sticker strips and snowflakes from the Sticker Book.
Adhere some gauze to your layout.
I have then added some of the trees, to start my forest.

Once I have built the first layer of trees, I then adhered my photo, and added another layer of trees, some adhered with foam tape for dimension.

I have then added some more trees to the other side of my photo,
again layering some stamped and some collectable trees.

I have then started to add some more of the stamped snowflakes.

I have used one of the Curios from this collection.

A couple of the sentiments from the Collectables and the Sticker Book.

I hope that you like what I have created.
I am in love with the colours and snowflakes in this collection, just gorgeous!

Until next time!

Believe in You – Magenta Collection

Hello, It’s Lisa back today to share another project with you.
This time I have been working with the stunning Magenta Collection.
Oh the pinks! And the florals! I fell in love with this collection.
Here is the layout that I have created.

PAPERS: MAGENTA Collection: P2776 Flamingo, P2777 Rosa, P2779 Raspberry, P2780 Pomegranate, P2782 Pink, PP1071 Paper Pad
KC PRODUCTS: CT965 Collectables, SK811 Sticker Book, CS356 Clear Stamps, CS361 Woven Line Texture Stamp, IT491 Line Art Template, CD601 White Card Stock, Ink Pads – IP739 Flamingo, IP752 Smoke, IP753 Licorice. Kaiser Mists – KM121 White, KM125 Candy, KM131 Black.
OTHER: Embroidery thread – Pale pink & Hot pink, Needle. Modelling Paste.

I have started with the gorgeous grey ‘Raspberry’ as my base for my layout.
I have then added some texture using the Line Art Template and modelling paste.
I have then used the Woven Line Texture Stamp to add some more depth.
Of course I have then added some splashes using my mists.

I have then used some of the strip stickers from the Sticker Book.
I love the new sticker books, they have so many stickers and two of each page.

I have then started to build my photo stack.
I have added layers of the papers and then added some of the gorgeous florals to my page,
fussy cut from the papers.

I have also cut flowers from the black and white part of ‘PINK’.
I have then used embroidery thread to sew centres to the flowers and segments of the leaves.

I have then added these to my layout, along with more fussy cut florals,
images stamped with the Clear Stamps, and some of the Collectables.

Lastly, I have built my corner cluster by layering some of the patterned papers,
a Collectable sentiment and some more of the flowers and foliage.

I really love the colours in this collection and the flowers are so gorgeous!

There are so many ways to colour the black and white flowers, you could sew them like I did,
or use watercolours or markers to colour them.

So many layers of gorgeousness!
I hope you like what I have created,

For this layout, I have chosen a photo of my daughter.

I have then added some white gesso, roughly where I want my photo to be.

I have then added some stamping using the Clear Stamp Set,
and some splashing of Kaiser Mists in Gold, Red & Lime.
I have then started to build my photo stack, using some of the gorgeous papers
from the Paper Pad, and some fussy cut elements.

I love to overlap and layer all my elements for more depth to the layout.

Next, I have started on my little corner cluster. I have cut the trunk scene from the Paper Pad,
and layered a door Collectable over the top of one side. I have then added some fussy cut elements, more collectables, and a die cut sentiment from the Paper Pad.

Tech Tuesday – Creating backgrounds using Clear Stamps – Morning Dew

Hello Kaisercraft Fans!
It’s Lisa here today to share a technique, and some cards with you.
I have created two mixed media cards,
by creating my own backgrounds using the Clear Stamps.
I have also made some traditional cards for those who don’t like getting messy 🙂

I have used the gorgeous Morning Dew collection to create these cards.

PAPERS: MORNING DEW Collection: PP1069 Paper Pad
KC PRODUCTS:  CS354 Clear Stamp Set, CT963 Collectables, SK809 Sticker Book, CD501 Square Card Base, CD601 White Card Stock, Kaiser Mist Turquoise KM127, Ink Pads – IP745 Sea Breeze, IP755 Silver
OTHER:Clear Gesso, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Gun

For my first card, I have used the Clear Stamps,
and a watermark stamp pad to stamp images onto my card.
I have then used Clear embossing powder to make the images resist the Kaiser Mist I have used.

I have then used the same stamp, and multiple ink pads,
to stamp out and fussy cut the floral images out.
I have then layered these into the centre of my card.

I have then added some of the Collectables, Die-cut pieces and stickers to finish.
Very simple and yet very effective.

You can find the full instructions for this card HERE.

For my next mixed media card,
I have used the same Kaiser Mist in Turquoise,
mixed with some water to flow over my card base.

PAPERS: MORNING DEW Collection: PP1069 Paper Pad
KC PRODUCTS: CS354 Clear Stamp Set, CT963 Collectables, SK809 Sticker Book, CD501 Square Card Base, Kaiser Mist KM127 Turquoise, Ink Pads – IP757 Black, IP745 Sea Breeze, SB700 Silver Rhinestones, CD601 White Cardstock, Heat Gun.

I have then used the butterfly stamps from the Clear Stamp set,
and black ink, to stamp randomly over my card.

I have then used elements from the Collectables,
layered with some of the papers from the Paper Pad.

I have also stamped out some more butterflies, with Sea Breeze Ink,
to use on the centre of my card.
You can find the full instructions for this card HERE.

My next cards are free of mess and a bit more traditional.

PAPERS: MORNING DEW Collection: PP1069 Paper Pad
KC PRODUCTS:  CT963 Collectables, SK809 Sticker Book, CD501 Square Card Base

For this card, I have started by layering some of the gorgeous papers from the Paper Pad.
Oh those pebbles!

I have then used some floral stickers from the Sticker Book,
to add some pretty to my card.

I could not resist adding that gorgeous bird to the top corner.

You can find the full instructions for this card HERE.

For my last card,
I have started with some of the pretty papers from the Paper Pad.

PAPERS: MORNING DEW Collection: PP1069 Paper Pad.

Some more layers of the papers,
and then I am ready to add some of the Collectables,
Stickers & a Paper Bloom

I hope that you like the mix of messy and traditional cards that I have created.
