Precious Memories – Amethyst

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you a layout I’ve created using the gorgeous Amethyst Kaisercraft collection. I love the beautiful purples and wonderful floral illustrations in this collection.

What a beautiful range – I wanted to show off the beautiful flowers from the collection, I loved fussy cutting and layering them up, I like to use foam pads to give height.

My layout also features colour coordinating hand stitching.

my photo’s were arranged in the centre, I layered up three of the same photo for added detail.

To finish, I added butterflies, pearls and tiny butterflies from the collectable pack.

I look forward to seeing your creations using this beautiful collection over on Kaiser Corner: https://www.facebook.com/groups/kaisercraftcorner/

Sunkissed – So beautiful

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you a layout I’ve created using the stunning – Sunkissed collection – this range features tropical flowers & exotic wildlife, be inspired & capture your favourite memories.

Products Used: Sunkissed – P2901 Pina Colada|P2902 Coconut|P2908 Tutti Frutti

Kaisercraft Products: CD301 Snow Kaisercard|CS379 Sunkissed Stamp set|CS372 Paint Splatter Background Stamp|SB793 Black Pearls|

Other Products: Pink DMC thread, Punch Around the Page set.

I decided to focus on using all the gorgeous pink & red flowers from the collection – I wanted to show that even though the collection is tropical themed, you don’t necessarily need photo’s to match.

Pink is my favourite colour and these flowers are just gorgeous. My layout is based around the central heart design with the gorgeous fussy cut flowers arranged & layered up around my two photo’s.

I have also used the fabulous Paint Splatter background stamp to add extra interest – and framed the base of the layout and the centre heart with colour coordinating stitching and punched edges.

The coordinating stamp set is beautiful, I stamped and fussy cut some of, one of the pretty butterflies and arranged them around my layout.

To finish off my layout I added the die-cut word – Beautiful

I hope I have inspired you to use this beautiful collection……it can work with all sorts of photo’s, not just your holiday snaps. I look forward to seeing your creations over on Kaiser Corner.

Under the Tree – with Peppermint Kisses

Hi Everyone,
Chrissy here today sharing my second project for September, featuring the lovely Peppermint Kisses Kaisercraft collection. I love the playful imagery in this collection so decided to use a photo of my daughter when she was younger, she always had to sit under the tree and have her photo taken with her toys.

PAPERS, PEPPERMINT KISSES: P2811 Fun & Festive|P2813 Wrapped Up|P2816 Minty|P2817 Santa & Co|P2818 Ho Ho Ho|P2819 Under the Tree|PP1075 Paper Pad|CT969 Collectables

KAISERCRAFT PRODUCTS: KM124 Red Kaisermist|KM132 Gold Kaisermist|IP738 Lipstick Ink Pad|SB795 Red Pearls|CD301 Snow Kaisercard

OTHER: Red DMC thread

I created my base using snow Kaisercard, Minty, Ho Ho Ho & Under the Tree papers. I have also added some splashes of red & gold Kaisermist.

Of course I had to do some stitching, so before matting them all together I added this along the lengths of some of the strips with bright red thread.

Now for my favourite part – fussy cutting all the cute embellishments to decorate my layout with. I fussy cut all the pink & red poinsettias from the Fun & Festive, Ho Ho Ho and Santa & Co papers and fussy cut the very cute Nut Crackers and Reindeer.

I then layered up the poinsettias to give some dimension.

After adding my photo to the centre of my layout I then start to arrange all the fussy cut elements around it.

I like to add foam pads to some of the elements to give that little extra height and dimension.

To finish off I have added a title using one of the sayings from the papers and added some red pearls to the centres of the poinsettias .

This Christmas collection is just the cutest and I hope I have inspired you to use it.

Pretty in Pink….

Good morning…. What do you think of this months NEW Collections? Well we re jumping straight into it with this weeks Technique Tuesday…. using the amazing sheet from the Magenta Collection – P2782 Pink.

PAPERS: MAGENTA Collection: P2780 Pomegrante, P2782 Pink, PP1071 Paper Pad, CT965 Collectables, CR211 Curios.
KC PRODUCTS: CD302 Coal Cardstock, T303 Foam Tape, T315 Double Sided 12mm Tape.

For my layout I decided I really wanted to use the amazing bold background – its stunning but how do you team things with it without getting lost?

Thats where the P2782 Pink comes into play……

The black and white side is the one I focused on but you can have a couple of options for this as well.

You could use your Kaiser Mists and add water and do a water colour effect. You could use your Kaiser Gel Pens and colour them in …… or leave them as they are.

So when creating this I decided to have the large size flower cluster on the right and a smaller size flower cluster on the left ( you can find the scaled down version in the paper pad).

To create the journal strips I cut up on of the bar code strips to make it fit in my space.

You can get the downloadable instructions from here . Till next time have a creative day xxx.

Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful ~ Layout by Donna Espiritu

PAPERS: MAGENTA Collection: P2782 Pink, SK811 Sticker Book, CT965 Collectables, CR211 Curios.
KC PRODUCTS: CD101 White, KM125 Candy, KM131 Black, T315 Double-Sided Tape, T303 Foam Tape, T321 Acid-Free Craft Glue

Other: White Thread

She used the fussy cut flowers and leaves from the Pink paper to create a wreath design. Before placing them, she splattered some Kaiser Mists to the background.

Using foam tape to build the flowers and curling the edges added depth and texture. She alternated between flowers, shape, and color, for an interesting detail. Then she placed the flowers and leaves in a circle shape and built the wreath design from there.

Thanks for dropping by and happy crafting!

‘Always take the scenic route’

Hello Kaisercraft fans! It’s Lisa here today to share my latest creation with you.
I have used this month’s Journey Collection to create this layout.

I have then used fussy cut lanterns, and books to pile up on my base page.

I have adhered different levels of book using cardboard for dimension.
Add in some collectables and a Decorative Border die-cut.

Another layer of books and some more collectables and stickers from the Sticker Book.

Lots of depth and dimension. Some more stickers from the Sticker Book.

Add in some more collectables and that gorgeous Curio!

I have fussy cut the florals from the patterned papers.

I have arranged the flowers around two opposite corners to frame my page.

I have then started to arrange my layers travelling diagonally down my page.

I have layered some of the collectables, more fussy cut elements,
and some stickers from the Sticker Book.

I have then layered up some more florals and sentiment stickers, with some added bling 😉

This collection works perfectly with the photo of the cute little church.

Technique Tuesday – Feature Frames

Hello Kaisercraft fans!
It’s Technique Tuesday and it’s Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you!
I have a layout to share that I have created using the Antiquities Collection.

PAPERS: ANTIQUITIES Collection: P2740 One of a Kind, P2741 Limited Edition, P2743 Antique, P2744 Valuable, P2745 Treasured, P2746 Precious, P2747 Beloved
KC PRODUCTS: CT960 Collectables, SK807 Sticker Book, CS352 Clear Stamp, FL648 Flourish Pack, IT493 Distressed Dots Template, DD632 Ornate Layered Bracket Decorative Die, Kaisermists KM122 Yellow, KM129 Navy, Ink Pads IP757 Black & IP747 Denim, Paper Bloom F630 Iceberg, SB789 Pearls Chino.

The technique that I would like to share with you today,
is using different papers to frame your layout.
The Antiquities collection has some fabulous papers that are perfect for this.

To start I have used the ‘One of a Kind’ (reverse) as my base page.
I have added some mixed media using the ‘Distressed Dots’ Template.
I have also used the ‘Grunged Paint’ Texture Stamp and the Clear Stamp Set,
to stamp randomly over my page.

When framing my layout I like to use colours that contrast with my base paper.
The Antiquities Collections has a patterned paper, ‘Precious’, that already has a timber frame.
This was perfect for one level of my frame. For the inner frame I chose ‘Antique’ (reverse).

I have adhered the yellow frame to the base paper first.
I have then used foam tape to adhere the wood frame to the page.

Adding fussy cut flowers, from ‘Treasured’ to layer with the frames help add more depth to your page. I have used some in between the two frames and some on the outer frame.
I have then started to build up my page.

I have then used some of the ‘Collectables’ and fussy cut flowers from the papers to build up my layers. I have also used half of an ‘Ornate Layered Bracket’ Decorative Die.
I have then built up pieces of distressed patterned papers to matt my photo.

Some more collectables, Stickers and flowers to finish.
Then I have added some ‘Chino Pearls’ to the centre of my frame flowers.

I hope you like what I have created.
You can find the full instructions for this layout HERE.
I would LOVE to see how you use this technique on a project of yours,
so please share in our Facebook Group – Kaisercraft Corner.

You can find the Antiquities Collection in stock now at your local stockist or
online at Kaisercraft.

Technique Tuesday – Framing

Hello all! It’s Lisa here today with you to share a layout that I have created using the
gorgeous With Love collection.

I fell in love with the stunning gold frames that were a part of the HUGS & KISSES paper.

I really wanted to use them for my layout, so I have fussy cut them out and layered them.

PAPERS: WITH LOVE Collection: P2748 Just for You, P2749 Someone Special, P2752 Sending Love, P2754 Hugs & Kisses, P2755 Just Because, P2756 All my Love.
KC PRODUCTS:  SK808 Sticker Book, CT961 Coloured Collectables, CS353 Clear Stamps, Ink Pads IP740 Cotton Candy, IP739 Flamingo & IP753 Licorice. OTHER:Cardboard

I have first started with the black damask paper (JUST FOR YOU reverse) for my base as I really wanted the gold and bright colours to pop off my page.

I have started by cutting out the large aqua and gold frame, I have backed it with HUGS & KISSES (reverse). I have then cut out the large pink and gold square frame and backed it with ALL MY LOVE (reverse). Lastly, I have cut the pink and gold round circle frame and backed it with SOMEONE SPECIAL (reverse). I have then layered and adhered these on my base page.

I have then fussy cut floral clusters from SENDING LOVE and
tucked them into my layers of frames.

I have then fussy cut the two black and gold frames, raised with cardboard and foam tape for added dimension. The smaller frame is for my photo.
I have then added more floral clusters tucked into my layers.

For my corner cluster I have used the centre from the aqua frames, which I have tucked florals behind. I have then layered it with a sentiment from the Collectables.

I have then added another small pink and gold frame cut from HUGS & KISSES and layered it with a banner sticker from the Sticker Book.
To finish I have added some tri-coloured butterflies I have stamped using the Clear Stamps.

You can find the full instructions for this layout HERE.
I hope you like how I have used these frames to build my layout.

Until next time
Lisa
