Sunkissed – So beautiful

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you a layout I’ve created using the stunning – Sunkissed collection – this range features tropical flowers & exotic wildlife, be inspired & capture your favourite memories.

Products Used: Sunkissed – P2901 Pina Colada|P2902 Coconut|P2908 Tutti Frutti

Kaisercraft Products: CD301 Snow Kaisercard|CS379 Sunkissed Stamp set|CS372 Paint Splatter Background Stamp|SB793 Black Pearls|

Other Products: Pink DMC thread, Punch Around the Page set.

I decided to focus on using all the gorgeous pink & red flowers from the collection – I wanted to show that even though the collection is tropical themed, you don’t necessarily need photo’s to match.

Pink is my favourite colour and these flowers are just gorgeous. My layout is based around the central heart design with the gorgeous fussy cut flowers arranged & layered up around my two photo’s.

I have also used the fabulous Paint Splatter background stamp to add extra interest – and framed the base of the layout and the centre heart with colour coordinating stitching and punched edges.

The coordinating stamp set is beautiful, I stamped and fussy cut some of, one of the pretty butterflies and arranged them around my layout.

To finish off my layout I added the die-cut word – Beautiful

I hope I have inspired you to use this beautiful collection……it can work with all sorts of photo’s, not just your holiday snaps. I look forward to seeing your creations over on Kaiser Corner.

Tropical Vibes – Sunkissed

Hello Kaisercraft lovers and welcome to the blog today!

PRODUCTS USED: P2906 Lemon Lime | P2903 Mojito | P2905 Long Island | CT979 Collectables | IT502 Tropical Leaves Stencil | DD474 Cross Lattice Texture Die

WOW! The colours in this collection just grabbed me! So bright and happy. From those beautiful birds to the pretty pink flowers. Just makes me want a holiday. Instead I decided to put the papers to use and scrap a photo of my hubby sitting under a palm tree in our pool at home with a cocktail in hand. The papers were perfect!

I chose the Lemon Lime paper as my background. This was way out of my comfort zone as I almost always use a white background but I loved this paper so thought I would mix it up a little.

To start I added some stencil work using the Tropical Leaves stencil that co-ordinates with the collection and added some leaves to the back ground.

I fussy cut the flowers from the corner of the Long Island paper and then made my paper cluster for my photo to sit on.

Now I start and tuck everything into those layers. I also added in the Cross Lattice texture die too.

Here is a closer look at some of that stencil work and how pretty is that bird!

Thank you for stopping by today. Be sure to pick up this beautiful collection from your local paper craft store now and don’t forget to share your work on our Facebook page.

Until next time – happy crafting!

Together Moments – Lily & Moss

Hello fans – my turn to show off this beautiful Lily & Moss collection – pinks and greens – and flowers, my happy place! Here is my take on the collection:

Products Used: P2883 Pink Plaster; P2885 Ombre; P2886 Flicker; P2887 Flora; P2888 Whirl; PP1083 6½” x 6½” Paper pad; SK823 Sticker book; CT977 Collectables; IT921 Stencil

I have loved putting together this layout, using the flowers and the leaves to create a paper cluster of lilies.

I have used flowers from three different sources – the collectables, the sticker book and the P2887 paper (fussy cut)

Happy crafting fans – and remember to share your creations on the Facebook page – Kaisercraft corner, we would love to see what you create!

Lily & Moss Tiles – Group Post

Hello – this group post is all about “Tiles” so today the Design Team will show you a few ways to use the P2883 Pink Plaster paper & P2884 Tiles paper in their projects.

Chrissy Tingey

Papers: Lily & Moss Collection: P2883 Pink Plaster|P2885 Ombre|P2886 Flicker|P2887 Flora

Kaisercraft Products: SK823 Sticker Book|CT977 Collectables|SB701 Soft Pink Rhinestones|DD3352 Lily Decorative Die

The Pink Plaster paper with all those pretty tiles on it is so versatile, I decided to use it as my background and cut out the ones I wanted to use. I have also stitched in between the tiles and have added some bling to them – You can cut out specific tiles to suit your project, they would also look great as a centre section on a card.

Lisa Amiet

PRODUCTS USED:
PAPERS: LILY AND MOSS Collection: P2883 Pink Plaster, P2884 Tiles, P2886 Flicker, P2887 Flora
KC PRODUCTS: CT977 Collectables, SK823 Sticker Book, CR223 Curios

I had lots of fun playing with the tiles in this collection. I have made a frame with the mosaic tiles from TILES, and with the decorative tiles from PINK PLASTER, that I have arranged in a grid.
You can find the full instructions for this layout HERE.

PAPERS: LILY AND MOSS Collection: P2883 Pink Plaster, P2884 Tiles, P2885 Ombre, PP1083 Paper Pad, SK823 Sticker Book, CT977 Collectables

OTHER: Doily and Refillable tea bag

Sometimes a pattern is too big, dont be afraid to cut it down into strips of varying sizes to add to your background. I have done a process video so you can follow along HERE, and if you want the downloadable PDF you can download HERE

Papers: Lily & Moss Collection: P2883 Pink Plaster|P2884 Tiles|
Kaisercraft Products: CT977 Collectables | white Cardstock

I decided to use Tiles as my background paper and cut up Pink Plaster and used specific tiles to layer behind my photo. The heart shape was hand drawn on some white card stock as I just wanted some plain white highlight to soften the ‘busy’ background paper. I then layered several Collectables die cuts and arranged them around my photo using foam dots for dimension.

I hope we have inspired you to use these beautiful papers from the Lily and Moss collection, which you can find on the Kaisercraft website here

Challenge #14 – Stitching

Hi Everyone, welcome to Challenge Corner No: #14 – Stitching!!! I don’t know if you have noticed but I love stitching on my projects, especially my layouts, you can colour match the threads to your beautiful papers and I also find it very relaxing. The “Oh Happy Day’ is a fabulous collection for adding stitching with all those pretty bright coloured papers, so I used some bright red thread which stands out on the beautiful blue paper. So come on, show me your projects with some added stitching, it can be hand stitching or machine. I am so looking forward to seeing your lovely stitched creations.

Kaisercraft Products Used: Oh Happy Day Collection: P2892 Time to Party|P2893 Fire Crackers|P2899 100’s & 1000’s|P2898 Party Popper|CS376 Clear Stamp Set

Other Products: CD330 Bloom Kaisercard|CD302 Coal Kaisercard|CD323 Coral Kaisercard|DD650 Fancy Doily Die|EF253 Streamers Embossing Folder|CS372 Paint Splatter Texture Stamp|SB793 Black Pearls

As this collection is about celebration and parties I wanted to create a fun, bright explosion of colour on my layout, my photo was taken at my daughters Birthday party, she was having so much fun, she didn’t see us snapping away, I love her expression!!!!

The coordinating stamp set is just so much fun, I’m not sure what you call them, but stamped and fussy cut the little flower type stamp on some of the Kaiser card, they made great centres to the Doily Die cut outs and I also added some around my layout to give little pops/explosions of colour.

You can download the instructions for my layout here

Grand Bazaar – Thankful for you

Hi Everyone, Chrissy here with my first project for December using the gorgeous & exotic “Grand Bazaar” collection. I love the bright rich colours in this collection and the flowers on the “Boho Paisley” paper were just perfect for fussy cutting.

Kaisercraft Products Used: Grand BazaarP2866 Folklore|P2867 Ceramic Tiles x3|P2868 Boho Paisley x 2|FL662 Flourish Pack|

Other Products Used: SB793 Black Pearls|CD324 Crimson Kaisercard|Red Thread for sewing

I used the Crimson Kaisercard for my base, I love adding coordinating card stock as a frame for my layouts. On top of this I matted the reverse side of the “Folklore” paper and added bright red hand stitching. On top of this I matted the mustard side of the “Ceramic Tiles” paper (with more stitching) I fussy cut all the tiles from another piece of the “Ceramic Tiles” paper.

I picked out the tiles from the paper with mainly the dark blues & reds on them. The Wooden flourishes make great titles, I coloured the “Thankful for you” Flourish using black and yellow ink pads.

I fussy cut the flowers from the “Boho Paisley” paper and arranged them around my photo, I love the detail on these flowers

This layout has lots of height, I love using foam pads to some of the fussy cut flowers to achieve this. I also like to curl and shape them.

I loved using this beautiful collection and hope i have inspired you to have a play – and look forward to seeing your creations using it over on Kaiser Corner.

Lady Like – So Talented

I love the feminine feel and delicate florals in this this beautiful collection and the combination of dainty pinks and green – and isn’t the “Rose” paper just gorgeous, perfect for fussy cutting. I had a photo in mind for my layout, my daughter & I attended a Peaky Blinders festival, I am so proud of her as she completely re-designed an over sized vintage mens outfit to fit herself.

Kaisercraft Products Used: P2874 Rose|P2876 Jessica|P2877 Elsie|P2878 Delores|P2879 Gertrude|CD331 Tutu Kaisercard|CS374 Clear Stamp Lady Like|SB777 Black Rhinestones

Other Products Used: DMC Green Thread|Black Ink Pad

I started to assemble the base of my layout using Elsie & Jessica papers and Tutu Kaisercard.

I love stitching on my layouts and projects, so after punching along two edges of the Jessica and Tutu Kaisercard I then stitched along the punched edges.

The coordinating stamp set is just so beautiful, I love the lace borders so stamped, fussy cut and stitched along the edges then added these to the layout.

How relaxing is fussy cutting, I couldn’t resist fussy cutting all those beautiful flowers from the two Rose papers.

I arranged all the beautiful fussy cut Roses around my photo, in the top right hand corner.

……….and bottom left hand corner.

I used foam pads to give some height and dimension

……and stamped and fussy cut the pretty little butterflies from the coordinating stamp set to add extra interest

My Crafty Space – Crafternoon

Hi Everyone, Chrissy here with a layout I’ve created using the fabulous “Crafternoon” collection. Oh yes…a collection about crafting!!! I love all the little fun crafty sentiments and imagery. So for my layout I decided to use a black & white photo of my craft room.

Products used: Crafternoon Collection: P2838 Handmade|P2841 Back Stitch|P2842 Crafty|P2843 Measured|P2845 DIY|P2846 Cut & Paste|FL659 Crafternoon Flourish Pack|SB777 Black Rhinestones

Other products: DMC thread|Butterfly punch

For this layout I decided to pick out a couple of colours from the collection, I just love the minty green and yellow papers then added a splash of black with some of the sentiments and painted wood flourishes – and thought a black and white photo would work perfectly.

How cute are these teeny tiny images of paint tubes, brushes and that manakin – these were fussy cut from the Handmade paper. I painted the Wooden flourish buttons black and added yellow coordinating thread to them.

I fussy cut all the beautiful flowers and leaves from the Back Stitch paper and the Making Memories hoop from the DIY paper. I have tried to add things and items to my layout that captures my love of scrapbooking – the tiny needle represents my passion of stitching on layouts, the little black scissors below for my other passion – fussy cutting.

More fussy cut flowers – next to the tiny Wooden Flourish scissors, which I also painted black

I have throughly enjoyed using this fabulous crafty collection and hope I have inspired you to create with it and I look forward to seeing those creations over on the Kaisercraft Corner facebook/ page. You can also find all these lovely Kaiser goodies over on the website.

Happy scrapping!!!

Friendship – Under the Gum Leaves

Hi Everyone, Chrissy here with the first of my October projects. Today I am sharing with you a layout I’ve created using the fabulous Under the Gum Leaves Kaisercraft collection – I just love this striking collection it is filled with beautiful Australian flora & fauna.

Kaisercraft Products: Under the Gum Leaves: P2829 Protea|P2831Bottle Brush|P2832 Gum Leaves|P2833 Fauna|P2836 Wattle|KM132 Gold Shimmer Kaisermist

Other Products: Edge punch|Red DMC Thread

I decided to focus on using the papers with all the beautiful flora on them, I had a photo in mind of my daughter and her friends, the colours matched perfectly. So I set about fussy cutting all the flowers and leaves from the Protea & Wattle papers.

I used a number of papers to make my base – Protea (reverse), Bottle Brush & Fauna. I added a couple of punched strips top and bottom and some colour coordinating stitching. I love stitching on my layouts to add that little extra interest.

I love the Gold Shimmer Kaisermist – it goes beautifully with the colours in this collection, so used it on the base of my layout.

I added my photo to the centre of the layout then started to arrange all the fussy cut elements around it.

I added foam pads to some to give height and dimension.

This collection is so versatile it can also be used for your non Christmas layouts and projects – like mine. You can find this fabulous collection over on the Kaisercraft website: https://www.kaisercraft.com.au/

Peppermint Reindeer Kisses

KC-Peppermint-Kisses-2

Hi Everyone!

Happy Sunday!

It’s Trudi with you today sharing some more Peppermint Kisses inspiration.  I just love the candy stripes, pretty mint green and pink and sweet reindeer elements . Super fun and festive!

I chose to create a snow globe design for my page:KC-Peppermint-Kisses-Layout

Kaisercraft Products: Peppermint Kisses Papers- P2811 Fun & Festive, P2812 Bright Baubles, P2816 Minty, P2817 Santa & Co, P2818 Ho Ho Ho, P2819 Under the Tree; Peppermint Kisses – CT969 Collectables, PP1075 Paper Pad

KC-Peppermint-Kisses3

To create the background you will require 2 sheets of the Minty paper. Remove manufacturing strips.  Trim one 10″ x 10″ – attach this darker side up to the other sheet

To Create the snow globe:

Cut out a circle element from the plain area of Under the Tree

** I used a smaller bread and butter plate**

Attach this to the centre of the page.

Cut a circle element (the same size) from the striped side of Santa & Co.  Trace around the inside with a smaller sized plate to create a frame.  Trim around the inside edge.  Attach over the top of the previously applied circle with foam tape/dots.

Trim the red and white spot strip from the Ho Ho Ho paper.  Attach this to the bottom of the circle to create the base of the snow globe.

Matte the photo to coordinating paper from the Paper Pad. Position and attach

peppermint-kisses-Detail-4

Decorate the bottom of the snow globe with fussy cut Poinsettia’s from Fun & Festive and Ho Ho Ho.  Layer the floral elements attaching with foam tape/dots to add a little dimension.

peppermint-kisses-Detail-6

Fussy cut baubles from Bright Baubles – attach one coming down from the top of the page:

peppermint-kisses-Detail-7

The other peeking out from below the poinsettia arrangement:

peppermint-kisses-Detail-5

Fussy cut the Christmas Tree and Deer elements from Ho Ho Ho paper.  Tuck in Christmas tree along right hand photo edge and the deer over the top.
