Challenge #14 – Stitching

Hi Everyone, welcome to Challenge Corner No: #14 – Stitching!!! I don’t know if you have noticed but I love stitching on my projects, especially my layouts, you can colour match the threads to your beautiful papers and I also find it very relaxing. The “Oh Happy Day’ is a fabulous collection for adding stitching with all those pretty bright coloured papers, so I used some bright red thread which stands out on the beautiful blue paper. So come on, show me your projects with some added stitching, it can be hand stitching or machine. I am so looking forward to seeing your lovely stitched creations.

Kaisercraft Products Used: Oh Happy Day Collection: P2892 Time to Party|P2893 Fire Crackers|P2899 100’s & 1000’s|P2898 Party Popper|CS376 Clear Stamp Set

Other Products: CD330 Bloom Kaisercard|CD302 Coal Kaisercard|CD323 Coral Kaisercard|DD650 Fancy Doily Die|EF253 Streamers Embossing Folder|CS372 Paint Splatter Texture Stamp|SB793 Black Pearls

As this collection is about celebration and parties I wanted to create a fun, bright explosion of colour on my layout, my photo was taken at my daughters Birthday party, she was having so much fun, she didn’t see us snapping away, I love her expression!!!!

The coordinating stamp set is just so much fun, I’m not sure what you call them, but stamped and fussy cut the little flower type stamp on some of the Kaiser card, they made great centres to the Doily Die cut outs and I also added some around my layout to give little pops/explosions of colour.

You can download the instructions for my layout here

So this Challenge is all about Stitching –

A Design Team member will choose two submissions just before the next challenge starts which will be on the 4th January 2020 – so you could be in with a chance to win a collection pack.

Breathe Cards and Decorative Die Title Fun

Hello all!
It’s Lisa here today to share some cards with you that I have created,
using the gorgeous Breathe Collection and some
Decorative Die Titles and the different ways you can use them.

For my first card I have gone with a monochromatic colour scheme.
I love the blues in this collection.

PAPERS: BREATHE  Collection: PP1063 Paper Pad
KC PRODUCTS: CD650 White Cardstock, CD501 White Square Card, CS348 Clear Stamps, DD3325 Hello Decorative Die,
Ink Pad – IP747 Denim, F627 Paper Bloom Coconut, SB794 Pearls Snow

I have used my Hello Decorative Die Cut Title on a diagonal pattern along the join of the two patterned papers.
I have added some paper blooms and images stamped using the Clear Stamps from the Collection.

You can find the full instructions for this card HERE.

For my second card I have used some of the pretty patterned papers with a navy and pink colour scheme.
I have also used the Clear Stamps to stamp some gorgeous feathers.

PAPERS: BREATHE  Collection: PP1063 Paper Pad
KC PRODUCTS: CS348 Clear Stamps, DD326 Thanks Decorative Die, CD501 Square White Card, CD650 White Cardstock,
Ink Pads – IP740 Cotton Candy, IP747 Denim, IP755 Silver, F640 Paper Bloom Fairy Floss, SB786 Pearls Rose.

This time I have used the Thanks Decorative Die to die cut my title from the navy paper.
I have also used foam tape to adhere it, for some added dimension.

You can find the full instructions for this card HERE.

My third card is again using the Hello Decorative Die,
which I have die cut from white card stock. I have also layered the letters onto the blue paper.

PAPERS: BREATHE  Collection: PP1063 Paper Pad
KC PRODUCTS: CD501 Square Card Base, CD650 White Card Stock, CS348 Clear Stamps, DD3325 Hello Decorative Die,
FL644 Love Life Flourish Pack, Ink Pads – IP747 Denim & IP740 Cotton Candy, SB794 Pearls Snow.

I have used some of the gorgeous gloss papers from the Paper Pad to create this card.
I have also added some stamped butterflies and wooden flourishes.

You can find the full instructions for this card HERE.

For my fourth and final card I have created a staggered effect
with the die cut letters from the Thanks Decorative Die.

PAPERS: BREATHE  Collection: PP1063 Paper Pad
KC PRODUCTS: CD501 White Square Card Base, CD650 White Cardstock, DD3326 Thanks Decorative Die, CS348 Clear Stamps,

that I have layered with black cardstock.

I have then used the Ornate Layered Bracket Die and my DIY Cuts machine,
to die cut the larger bracket from black cardstock.

I have then used some sentiment and rose stickers from the new
Sticker Book.

I have then used the Clear Stamp Set to stamp some butterflies to finish.

You can find the full instructions for this card HERE.

For my second card, I have used both pieces of the Ornate Layered Bracket,
but I also wanted to make use of all the cute little pop out bits that usually go in the bin.

KC PRODUCTS: SK801 Sticker Book, DD632 Decorative Die – Ornate Layered Bracket,  CD501 Square Card Base,

and the smaller one from white cardstock.

The pop out pieces from the die cut, I have adhered randomly, in groups over the card.
