Flashback Friday – Two Souls Collection

This stunning Collection has been used to create Wedding Invitations, Christening Announcements, and Wedding Albums due to its soft tones.
We have found some gorgeous layouts created by Denise Holmes,
shared in our Facebook Group – Kaisercraft Corner, that we would like to feature.

Denise Holmes has created this beautiful layout for her middle son’s Wedding,
using the Two Souls collection.
Denise used a black and white photo which blends perfectly with the muted tones of this Collection.

Here is a little of what Denise had to say about what inspired her to create these gorgeous layout.

“I was inspired by the beautiful tones of the collection together with the lace and flowers which went perfectly with wedding photos. I loved the splashes of green in the collection too. The lace on the papers echoed the brides dress in my layout..’

“The flowers from the collectibles were just beautiful to cluster together as embellishments on this layout. I inked through just the dress of the stencil with green ink to go frame the layout.”

I am in love with this layout. I really like how Denise has created the wreath on her layout, using a mix of the Collectables, Stickers and those gorgeous Curios.

If you would like your project to be featured on the Kaisercraft Blog, all you need to do is share your creations in our Facebook Group – Kaisercraft Corner.
We are always on the lookout for projects from our members to be featured.

I hope you have enjoyed looking back on this collection with us!
Until next time!

Two Souls Wedding Tags

Welcome to today’s blog post using the gorgeous Two Souls range. I created a set of tags to be used as a quick wedding card instead of making a card.
I find that tags as my go to card these days – quick and easy to make and I don’t feel so bad when people just throw them away.
The paper pad, Collectables pack and this gorgeous tag topper die was simply perfect to create these tags with.

Its delicate details make for an exquisite element that can turn any piece of paper into a work of art.

Step 1 – From the 6×6 paper pad pull some papers that you want to use as your background for your tags.

Trim the papers into 2 x tags measuring 3×6” (7.5x15cm) and cut 2 x pieces measuring 2 ¾”x3 ¾” (7×9.5cm) using your trimmer.

Step 2 – Papers from the paper pad were used to die-cut the decorative edges using DD635 and your DIY Cuts machine.

Step 3 – Adhere the die-cuts to the back of the pieces measuring 2 ¾”x3 ¾” (7×9.5cm) using double sided tape.

Trim off any overlapping pieces of paper and tape for a nice clean finish.

Step 4 – Select some elements from your Collectables pack as well as from the Paper pad to use on your tags.

Step 5 – Ink the edges of your elements using white chalk ink to hide any cutting lines and to give a nice finish.

Step 6 – Start assembling your tags using all the elements gathered.

Layer elements using foam tape, add some rolled up thread for interest and finish off your tags with some diamante for a nice clean and elegant look.

Tie ribbon or bakers’ twine to the tags.
Step 7 – The Tag Topper die-cut used in different ways on your tags add interest.

Beautiful detail on this die-cut edge.

For this tag I cut the tag topper out using 2 different pieces of paper from my paper pad.

Adding interest with a dark bottom edge and a light variegated top edge.

Layered elements on a tag add interest and a beautiful finish.

Two Souls Romantic Interactive Layout

Hello, Kaisercraft fans!
It’s Lisa here today to share my latest creation with you.
When I received the Two Souls Collection I thought it was a lovely romantic collection
and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.

I have created a multi-page interactive layout with hidden sentiments, and opening pages.
I have used some of my Wedding photos for this as it fits with the feel of the collection.

PAPERS: TWO SOULS  Collection: P2721 Bridal Bouquet, P2722 Tuxe, P2725 Just Married, P2726 Lace Trim,
P2727 White Rose, P2728 Boutineer, P2729 My Heart

KC PRODUCTS: CD650 White Card Stock, SK805 Sticker Book, SB794 Pearls Snow

This is the front cover.

Lots of gorgeous grey and floral elements.
Of course, there are some wonderful wedding sentiments to use throughout this collection.

This then opens to reveal the inner pages.

A close up of the inner sentiment.
Layered with lots of the floral and botanical elements.

A close up of the photo stack of the inner page, which hides a pull out sentiment.
You can use journalling if you prefer, I have added mine to the back of this.

How it looks with the hidden sentiment pulled out.

This is the other side of this inner page, which reveals another page that opens.

A close up of the inner page.

When you open this page you are finally at the centre, which is revealed with another photo,
taken just seconds after the one on the outside, so it seems as though my husband is moving.

Lots more of the gorgeous florals and lace patterns.

And finally this is the inner page of the whole layout opened up.

I loved working with this Collection and I had so much fun making this interactive layout,
it’s the first one I have ever made so I am quite happy with how it turned out.
It’s a great way to use multiple photos of the same theme.

You can find the full instructions on how to recreate this layout HERE.

You can find the Two Souls Collection at your local stockist now,
or online at Kaiserstyle.
